Delaney Giselle Scott. The world's biggest smartass. Delaney bounced around in the foster system before being placed with the Scott's and their two boys, Brayden and Liam. At first glimpse the Scott's would seem like a normal loving family, but if y...
It's been about three hours and I haven't moved an inch. I was fine up until 10 minutes ago when my stomach started growling. Andy offered to take a break but I didn't want him to have to stop or take the chance of messing up the position.
"Doll, I don't want you to-"
"Finish. I'll be fine." He frowned but continued on. I kept trying to sneak a glance but he'd turn the canvas every time.
"Tell me about you and the Kincaid's." The Kincaids? Why does he care about the Kincaids?
"Why?" He glanced at me before he smiled.
"I can smell them on you. Mostly Namari, but the others too. If you're uncomfortable telling me about them, that's ok." I mean there isn't really anything to tell. We're just friends, friends that cuddle sometimes.
"We're all friends. Zen's more friendly than the other two but Namari is starting to warm up to me." He nodded before he brought his hand back up to the canvas.
"And Jakobi?"
"He's nice. Quiet, but nice. He doesn't really speak, neither does Namari but I understand that they're not big on people." He glanced at me every now and then as I spoke, showing me that he was listening.
"Why was Namari with you last night?" How in the hell-
"As I said before, I can smell them on you. The way you feel now, the cold I mean, it only happens when a human is in close proximity to a dragon for a rather long period of time." I thought Namari said no one would be able to smell him on me? He seriously needs to get himself together with all this.
"How can you-"
"That's a secret." He looked at me and smiled before he sat down his paintbrush.
"But-"
"It's better that you don't know." He said before he stood up and grabbed the canvas. I went to stand up but he quickly shook his head.
"I need one last thing from you." I tilted my head as he turned the canvas around. I gasped seeing the final product.

It was beautiful! That most beautiful thing I have ever seen. And not just because it was a painting of my LOVELY self but because of the way it was done. It was like I could see how much thought he put into it. How much precision he used.
I've never had anyone paint me before, but this is an amazing start. I expect to be painted more often. I'm an incredible muse.
"I'm hanging that up in my room." He smiled before he let out a small laugh.
"Sign it for me." He said before he sat it down on the table. I nodded before I moved to stand beside him.
"Um, with what?" He smirked before he handed me a paintbrush. I grimaced before taking it.
