Elvis POV. Chapter 14.
Joy told me about Paris, I thought that was a great idea. I recently got a ring for joy and was gonna propose yesterday, but Paris is a better idea.
"Joy, honey. We gotta get up are plane leaves in 3 hours." I mumbled.
"Please, 5 more minutes!" Joy groaned, she rolled to her side pulling the covers up.
"Nope, don't got time." I replied.
She was snoring, so I thought of a plan. I quickly got up running to the bathroom. I got a bucket and filled it half way full. I ran back and leaned over but before I could spill it on her she dumped it on me.
"What the fuck!" I yelled.
"What? You were gonna get me. I had to fight back."Joy chuckled, she quickly jumped from the bed gigging running toward the shower.
Joy POV.
After I got out the shower, the telephone kept ringing. I looked in the room to see if Elvis was in the answered it.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Joy, God. Its good to hear your voice." I heard Frank on the other line
"Frank, you can't phone me like this. Elvis will find out." I whisper."Please please, let me see you. It's killing me." He murmurs.
"No, I can't I'm leaving to Pairs. I'm sorry Frank." I sighed , twirling the phone cord.
"Fine! Just give me a call when you get back. Please?" Frank asked.
"I will, Frank. Good bye." I replied.
"Who was that?" Elvis questioned.
"You scared me." I smiled.
"Who was that?" Elvis asked aging.
"Just my mother, she called to say bye." I lied.
Elvis nodded, kissing my forehead before walking in the bathroom. I sighed before slipping on my cocktail dress.
"Ready?" Elvis walked back through, as he buttoned his suit.
"Ready as I'll ever be." I replied, kissing his cheek.
