Be Mine

Chapter 1.

3rd person POV:

"Work was tiring today." The omega groaned as soon as he got inside the car. He started the vehicle and was about to turn the music on to get rid of the silence before he drove off when his phone started ringing making him sigh because who was calling him right when he was about to finally leave the premises of this godforsaken company where he worked at.

He didn't even check who it was as he pulled out his phone from his pocket and attended the phone call, "who is it? This better be important." Jungkook said in a stern voice. He could really care less about who it was when all he wanted was to go back home and get into his bed as soon as possible, but his tough persona melted when he heard the voice—

"Hey papa, had a bad day?"

"Hey sweetie! No no it was fine, just tiring. How was your day? Did you call for anything important?" He asked in his parent tone and heard a hum in response from the other side.

"It was good but tiring too! I wanted to ask if you could come pick me up from the basketball practice on your way back home but it's fine if you can't though, you sound tired so I can just walk back home with minji." As always, his daughter was oh so polite which made a smile show up on his face. He raised that child up to be like that, he felt proud.

"I'm about to drive off so I'll be there in half an hour, yeah? I don't mind picking you up." Jungkook put the phone call on speaker and pulled the car out of the parking area and on to the road while talking.

"Hmm thank you I love you! I'm going to hang up now Minji is calling me. See you in half an hour, papa!" And the phone call was hung up right after Jungkook responded with a, "I love you too, Eunchae-ah!"

Like he had said earlier, the Omega was supposed to reach there in exactly half an hour but he had stopped in the middle to grab a coffee for himself and was around 15 minutes late. It's fine though, his daughter is very understanding and wouldn't have minded waiting a bit longer.

But as a parent he still feels responsible for being later than the given time, and he knew she will be calling him soon if he's any more late so he quickly got out of the car the moment he reached the ground to pick her up.

He spotted her very quickly and the omega was about to call her name when he spotted something that made his eye twitch. There she was, playing basketball with her bestfriend Minji and some guy, and it didn't take him long to figure out that he was an alpha.

"Eunchae!" Jungkook yelled her name and the teenager quickly turned around to face him and dropped the ball quickly before running towards him.

"Papa!" She hugged him immediately the moment she stepped before him and the omega hugged her back for a second before pulling away a bit too abruptly. The scent of that unknown alpha was quite strong that he could feel it on his daughter.

Before Eunchae could say anything else, "I stopped to get a coffee, sorry for being late, love." He clarified on his own and she just nodded her head politely like she always did and ran away to pick up her bags first.

In the meantime, Jungkook waved over at Minji who bowed to him in greetings and also, went to grab her bags. The moment she left, the omega's eyes catch the man who was firstly wearing his jacket again that he must have removed earlier and now was making a way towards him with an annoying smile on his face.

The man was wearing a greenish gray semi formal suit with a white tshirt underneath the jacket, and had Gucci loafers as his footwear. His hair was styled perfectly in a curly perm, and there were a few thin chains around his neck and had been wearing dangly earings. As he walked even closer, he could see that the man was wearing a bunch of thin bracelets with a few rings as well. The alpha clearly held a liking for jewellery and it showed in the way he carried himself.
