Be Mine

Chapter 5.

3rd person POV:

Jungkook was right.

That day at the alpha's place did end up triggering his heat. Not completely but definitely by at least half a month and this was such a rare thing for him because his heats have always been regular for him.

It was around a week and a few days after the last time he had seen taehyung that he had started feeling his preheat symptoms which was the increase in temperature and the churning in his stomach. And much to his unfortunate, it happened at night too right before he was about to go to sleep with a happy mind that it was the start of weekend tomorrow.

Getting out of the bed that he had just gotten in, he quickly went to his personal washroom attached to his bedroom so he could check if he had the heat suppressants and enough scent blockers or not and—

What a terrible terrible night.

He had none. Neither suppresants nor scent blockers. And fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

It was a weekend tomorrow. Minji was coming over again and there was a high possibility the alpha he had oh so brutally rejected would come to drop her. He couldn't take the chance of getting his heat when he could be visiting. That would be embarrassing and just... embarrassing.

How could he be so careless that he even ran out of scent blockers and didn't realise? Now that he thinks back to it, he did notice it in the morning and was supposed to be buying some on his way back home but he had carelessly forgot.

"Fuck this shit. I hate being an omega." Jungkook mumbled to himself as he got out of the room after picking up a jacket. He made a quick beeline to his daughter's room, and the girl was sitting on her desk chair as she did what seemed to be her assignment with the study light on.

"I am going to the Yoon's Store and will be back in around half an hour, will you be fine?"  He asked as he stood by the door after knocking, even though the door was pretty much open.

"At this hour? That store is quite far away, papa." Eunchae asked as she turned towards him, putting down her pen.

"I need to buy some stuff. So is it okay with you?" It's quite late at night, and the store near their area is closed by now. That store is a bit far from here but it's the closest 24/7 store that he can get his stuff from when it was almost midnight. Though he really needed to go and buy the blockers and suppresants, he is fine with being embarrassed in the morning if his daughter feels unsafe being alone right now.

"I'll be fine but stay safe, alright? You know alphas can be dangerous." Eunchae said in such a serious tone that it made her father chuckle as he walked inside and ruffled her here making her whine.

"I'm supposed to be the parent here, young lady. But ofcourse, I'll be careful. Do you need me to bring something?" He asked as he patted down the hair he had messed up.

"Banana milk, please? I think we are out of it, I went to get some earlier but I couldn't find it." The girl said with her lip jutting out and jungkook nodded, "I'll get some for you. I'll be quick, okay."

And he was quick, in a few minutes he had drove off to the store and parked his car before he rushed inside.

Thankfully, there weren't many people inside and he was so so glad for that because he hated being around people when he wasn't wearing blockers which he wasn't at the moment. That was because he had taken a shower earlier and who the hell wears them when they're about to go to sleep?

It didn't take him long to get to the aisle from where he picked up the stuff he needed as he put them in the small basket and let out a breathe of relief, leaning against a shelf for a second.
