“You wish to!” – In-Yeop
Riel’s P.O.V
I sat in my cozy study, the soft glow of the desk lamp casting a warm light over my textbooks and notes. The upcoming exams loomed large in my mind, and I was determined to ace them. Just as I was diving into the intricacies of cellular biology, the door creaked open, and In-Yeop sauntered in.
“Hey darling~” In-Yeop sang, his voice a playful melody that broke my concentration.
“Let me study, In-Yeop,” I replied, my voice firm and sharp, trying to maintain my focus.
He pouted, a look that always made my heart melt, but I steeled myself against it. He slowly approached me, his hands casually tucked into his pockets, exuding an effortless charm.

“What are you studying?” In-Yeop asked, leaning over my desk, his presence both distracting and intoxicating.
“Biology,” I replied curtly, hoping to end the conversation quickly.
“Which chapter?” he persisted.
“Reproduction,” I muttered, cursing my mind for betraying me.
In-Yeop leaned in closer, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “Wanna do practical?” he smirked, his voice low and teasing.
I tightly closed my eyes and clenched my jaw. “Keep your mouth shut or just get out of here, you're disturbing my study session,” I snapped, trying to regain control.
He immediately put his index finger on his lips and sat down on the chair in front of me, mimicking a perfect student. We sat in silence for a few minutes, the tension in the room palpable, until I finally broke it.
“Don’t you have anything to do? Like, study for the upcoming exams rather than roam around me?” I asked, my frustration evident.
“Nah! I'm more intelligent than you, I don't need to study,” he said with a cocky grin, making me scoff.
“Intelligent, my foot,” I mumbled just loud enough for him to hear.
In-Yeop chuckled, leaning back in his chair. “You know, you’re cute when you’re angry,” he teased, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
I rolled my eyes, trying to ignore the flutter in my chest. “Flattery won’t get you anywhere, In-Yeop.”
He shrugged, a playful smile on his lips. “You wish to!”
I sighed, turning back to my notes, but the distraction was already there. In-Yeop had a way of getting under my skin, making it impossible to concentrate. I glanced at him, his eyes still fixed on me, and felt a mix of annoyance and something else I couldn’t quite place.
“Fine,” I said, closing my textbook with a thud. “If you’re going to stay, at least make yourself useful. Quiz me.”
In-Yeop’s eyes lit up with excitement. “Alright, let’s see how much you know about reproduction,” he said, grabbing my notes.
As he started asking questions, I couldn’t help but notice the way his eyes sparkled with mischief and intelligence. Despite his playful demeanor, there was a depth to him that intrigued me. Maybe, just maybe, studying with In-Yeop wouldn’t be so bad after all.
