The Hiding ( VALGRACE )

Leo's POV-

I answered the door as it kept ringing five times in a minute. Gods, did this guy have no patience? 

I unlocked the door and looked up annoyed at the apparently blond roommate I'll be forced to have ''Dude, if you're that eager to see-''

''Move'' he pushed past me and ran around looking for something. Then he figured out where the bathroom was and dashed inside it.

A few minutes later he came out and looked down at me ''Uhm.. okay that started off to a wrong one. I'm Jason Grace, majoring in Criminology at the university nearby.''

I scowled at him ''And I'm Leo Valdez who has this uninvited weirdo in his house'' Now that I could see him better, I noticed his calm electric blue eyes and sandy blond hair along with his muscular body, I noted there was a small scar on his lip but I'd think about that later. He might have been attractive if he hadn't barged into my house on one of my bad mood days.

He sheepishly rubbed his neck ''Yeah sorry  about that I really am, I was just about to pee my pants'' 

I rolled my eyes and sat down, gesturing for him to do the same ''So, how old are you? Better not be a pedo''

He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion ''Uh, no I'm not I'm twenty four just turned''

I nodded ''Okay, siblings? Family info? Spit it out''

He gave me an annoyed look that I'm used to '' I have a lesbian sister who's dating her best friend, a mom who's a movie star and a dad who goes on business trips and fucks everyone and anyone''

I nodded again ''And why do you want to live here? You sound like you're quite rich to be living with  a peasant like me'' I must have sounded really rude and I knew that but was in a too much of a bad mood to care

''Because,'' Jason sounded annoyed right now '' I want to earn for myself and live independently and this place seemed like the closest to university I could find.''

I guess that was a good enough reason even though he seemed like the player type who had girls fangirling over him. I'd have to tolerate him.

Sighing at my fate I stood up and looked at him lazily '' Can you clean the house and wash the dishes? I'll cook and deal with the landlord and the lousy grumpy neighbors I'm gifted with as long as you do that and work to pay half the bills''

Jason shrugged ''Sure, no problem But don't be surprised if my ex from this week drops by tomorrow in tears and tell her I'm not there okay?''

I rolled my eyes. Fucking called it, he was a player ''She's your ex, you deal with her'' then I remembered something ''By the way, I'm gay so If you have a problem with it you aren't getting the roommate position''

Jason raised an eyebrow competitively '' What if I'm bi? Will I still get the roommate position?''

I was a little taken aback but shrugged ''Whatever, I don't care when are you moving in?''

''Tomorrow be good?'' He looked at me with the signature popular jock smirk

''I don't fucking care Sparky,'' I told him irritated

''Why Sparky?'' He sat up from his slouching position

''Because your hair stand up at the top like you got shocked, Sparky'' I rolled my eyes for the umpteenth time

''Alright, then I'll go to make preparations'' He stood up taking something from his pocket ''Here's my number, you're gonna need it if we're living here'' He whispered in my ear, his hot breath hitting my face  

Then just as suddenly it happened, his face was back to a normal distance from me ''See ya soon Firefly'' He gave a two fingered salute and walked out 

I closed the door with my face burning, I couldn't fall for my to be roommate! Whatever I was feeling, I'd have to push it deep down.

I decided to call my best friend, Nico di Angelo to update him on my misery 

Gods, I was not ready for what was yet to come.

GUYS I NEED YOU TO RATE MY WRITING OUT OF /10 PLS? I WANT TO KNOW IF I IMPROVED

AND, I DON'T HAVE A SCHEDULE FOR ANY OF THE BOOKS I'M WRITING SO PLS BE PATIENT IF I DON'T UPDATE FOR A WHILE SINCE MY SAT'S ARE COMING UP.
