The Hiding ( VALGRACE )

By the time we were ready to abandon the apartment I've been at for three days, it was way past breakfast and Leo was taking everything in sight

''Leo, what are you going to do with fifteen spoons?'' I asked setting up the driver's seat

''I don't know! We might need them'' He said setting up the kitchen

''What the fuck is the fucking toaster for I thought you already brought in one'' 

''What if the other one breaks?''

''Fix it!''

''I can't bring screwdrivers, they're gonna hog up all the space''

I rolled my eyes giving up ''I'm giving you exactly five more minutes to stop bringing the whole house with you, or I'm leaving you here''

He put down a few bags pouting ''You wouldn't do that!'' He put pillows up in the bed ''Besides, I'm almost done, I just need to bring in the weapons'' Saying that, he left to bring who knows what else from the apartment

When he came back and we finally settled I started to drive out the parking when Leo exclaimed ''WAIT'' And he ran out coming back with five bars of his soap, four bars of mine and a few bottles of shampoo 

''Leo fucking Valdez, what are we going to use all the soap for?'' I groaned

''Bathing''

I grumbled as I drove forwards. Leo got up from the passenger seat and went into the van doing whatever he did.

After around an hour of driving we were heading into a more secluded area there were less people and the houses seemed to decrease, it seemed like we were close to Oregon.

I parked the van in a non suspecting area and went in to explore the van. Behind the driver's seats there was a start of grey wooden tiles, two small couches against opposite walls and a table in the middle. Leo had put up cushions and blankets on them to make more cozy to look at.

 Behind them was a stove against the wall and a sink beside it. Below the stove was a oven and below the sink were cabinets that were full of cutlery already. Above the sink there were shelves filled with cups and plates and a pantry. 

Beside the small kitchen there was a small bathroom door that opened to a small shower with a toilet and sink. Leo had put up a few soaps and shampoos on the shelf above the small shower.

I moved even deeper into the van to see a bed fit for about three people tucked against the wall with cabinets below it. Leo already put up pillows and blankets  making the place look cozy and welcoming

Leo was sitting on the bed folding clothes and putting them in a closet beside the bed and connected to the wall. ''Y'know, you could've started organizing the stuff later'' I said sitting on it

Leo shrugged ''I'd be too lazy to do it later'' He said and continued to fold clothes

''Need help?'' I asked

He thought for a moment before saying ''You can clean the weapons and put them in that basket' He pointed to one ''Then put it neatly under the bed'' 

I nodded and started getting to work by wetting a sponge and wiping my katana 

Leo looked so beautifully domestic humming a melody and folding clothes. My mind imagined him doing that on a couch when I got back from work someday, him greeting me with a kiss on my cheek-

Woah calm down. I told myself

Did I actually like Leo? I knew him for about three days, was it possible that I liked him? I looked back at Leo watching him reach up to the higher shelves of the wardrobe making his shirt go up exposing his smooth skin.

Yes. Yes I liked him already, but who wouldn't?

''Hello? Fucking Earth to Jason?'' Leo smacked my head trying to get my attention

''Hm? Yeah-Stop hitting me!'' I said glaring and rubbing my head

Leo raised both eyebrows ''Uh huh? I was almost thinking you were about to fuck your katana by how intensely you were looking at it''

I crinkled my nose in disgust '' And I'm the pervert here?''

Leo smirked opening a drawer and pulling out a box of condoms and a tube of lube waving it at my face ''Mmhmm yeah sure''

I put the katana down and went to grab the box ''And what made you bring these? Did you think something was going to happen between us on our trip?'' I said lowly

He shrugged backing off to keep out of my reach ''I just didn't want to waste a box of perfectly good condoms. I might need them, you never know''

I chuckled lowly never stopping my steps toward him ''What makes you think you'd ever top anyone?'' I almost laughed at his offended look ''With your tiny self and the way you scream 'bottom energy' ''

''I-I don't scream that'' He said stuttering a bit as his back hit the wall and I advanced on him

''Yes you do tell me Leo Valdez , What was the last time you topped a man before?'' I whispered, our bodies inches apart

''I-'' Just then a banging shook the van and we jumped apart.

''What was that?'' Leo whisper-yelled

I shrugged handing him his dagger and me taking my katana. The same bang repeated itself but we heard yelling coming outside. We went to the front of the van to the driver's seats to see two pale men with ink on their necks. They were banging on the front and if they kept it up the van would've been damaged 

''We should probably go kill them'' Leo said casually as if talking about the weather

I looked at him amused ''Sure. This is gonna be our lives soon anyways''

He unlocked the door, making the zombie guys quickly come over. When the door opened one of them immediately grinned looking at Leo and about to hit him when he dodged, stabbing the guy's shoulder with ease.

I had some trouble trying to hit the other guy, but Leo hitting his guy made him focus on them which made it easy for me to stab at the guy's heart. I wasn't actually looking for hitting his heart but he left me no choice, so when he fell to the ground barely moving I grimaced guiltily. It was just the day before when I was arresting people for murder.

The other guy seeing as he had no one to fight along with which made it two against one, cursed at us before running out of our sight,

Leo looked a bit sick staring at the guy that had yellowish blood flowing out of his wound like a fountain before grabbing my arm leading my back inside

Leo sighed before saying ''I hope I don't have to repeat what you told me last night Jason''

I shook my head ''No, it's all happening so suddenly. I didn't expect myself to already start killing people when just a day ago I was someone punishing people for killing''

Leo walked up to me from his spot near the stove and hugged me tightly putting his small arms around my neck. I was a little taken aback but hugged him back lacing my arms around his waist. Dam, he had a body of a chick without boobs and with a dick. 

''I get it'' Was all he said before stepping back ''But now, you need a shower. Then it's my turn''

I smirked a little ''Oh? Why don't you join me, it'll be saving water'' I had to duck as he threw a spatula at me. It hit the back of a seat before falling to the ground as I walked into the shower.

I couldn't wait until he could actually join me.
