As she wandered deeper into the garden, lost in her thoughts she didn’t notice the man walking toward herhe suddenly bumped into someone. the impact caught her off guard, and she felt herself falling, her heart racing as she braced for the inevitable crash to the ground. But before she could hit the earth, a pair of strong arms wrapped around her waist, holding her securely.

Startled, Taani looked up, her heart racing. Her eyes met those of the man who had caught her. His dark hazel eyes was intensely deep. His grip was firm, but gentle, and the warmth from his touch sent a strange shiver down her spine. and for a moment, the world around them seemed to fade away. They stood frozen like that for a few seconds, locked in each other’s gaze.

"Careful... I wouldn’t want to see you hurt."

His voice was deep, calm, yet there was something unsettling about it. Taani blinked, momentarily speechless as the warmth of his touch lingered. There was something about the way he held her, something familiar yet entirely strange.
