The atmosphere at Rey's house was tense. He had just told his parents about his decision to marry Taani, and their reaction was far from what he had expected.

"Rey, tum yeh kya keh rahe ho? Shaadi? Aur woh bhi itni jaldi?"
[Rey, what are you saying? Marriage? And that too so soon?]

Rey's mother- Sunaina was a picture of confusion. She had known about Rey's complicated relationship with Taani, but marriage seemed like a huge leap.

His father-Raj sat quietly processing everything.

"Rey, humne kabhi tumhe shaadi ke liye force nahi kiya. Tumhare career ka kya? Aur itna bada decision lena... itna asaan nahi hota."

[Rey, we never forced you to marry. What about your career? And taking such a big decision... is not so easy.]

Rey took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts. He knew this wasn't going to be easy, but he was determined.

"I know, dad. But this decision is not for my career, this decision is for my heart. I can't help myself. Without her my life is incomplete."

His parents exchanged a glance. They had always supported Rey in his decisions, but this one seemed impulsive.

Sunaina stepped forward, her voice soft but concerned. " Son, we understand your love. But marriage does not depend only on love. You both need time to understand each other. And there are so many misunderstandings between you..."

Rey interrupted her, his voice firm but respectful.
"Mom, I want to remove these misunderstandings. I have made a lot of mistakes but now I want to correct everything. And this marriage will be a new beginning for me."

Raj finally spoke up, his voice deep and calm.
"Rey, we understand your decision. But have you thought what Rishiji will think? His daughter has suffered a lot because of you."

Rey clenched his fists, knowing his father was right. He had to face Rishi Shekhawat, the man who loved Taani more than anything, and who had every reason to refuse him. But he had to try, for Taani's sake.

"Main jaanta hoon, dad. Main Sir se milne jaa raha hoon. Main unse maafi mangunga aur unse shaddi ke Taani ka haath bhi. Aur agar unhone mujhe maaf nahi kiya, toh main kabhi apne aapko maaf nahi kar paunga."

[I know, dad. I am going to meet uncle. I will apologize to him and ask for even Taani's hand for marriage. And if he has not forgiven me, I will never be able to forgive myself.]

His parents remained quiet for a moment, seeing the determination in their son's eyes. Sunaina sighed and placed her hand on Rey's shoulder.

"If you have taken this decision, then we are with you. But it won't be easy."

Rey nodded, grateful for their support, but his mind was already racing ahead to the next challenge-meeting Taani's Taauji.

Later that day, Rey stood outside Rishi Shekhawat's office, his heart pounding in his chest. He had rehearsed this moment in his head a thousand times, but now that he was here, everything seemed to vanish from his mind.

He took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
"Come in"

Rey entered, his gaze immediately falling on Rishi, who was sitting at his desk, looking over some files. The atmosphere was thick with tension as he glanced up, his expression cold and distant.
