"Woah that's crazy."

I answered, uninterested.

"R-right?"

"Yeah."

"Um... What are you listening to?"

"...Nothing, I just like the quiet."

"I see..."

"..."

"W-what are you doing for summer break?"

"...Nothing in particular."

"I-I see..."

"My mom said we're going to Okinawa to visit my grandparents for summer break, I-I'm super excited! I haven't meet them in a long time."

"I see."

"What about you Kazehaya-kun? Have you visited your grandparents yet?"

"No, they're dead."

Well they're not actually dead, I just want to end the conversation.

"O-oh... I'm sorry..."

"It's fine."

I said blandly while scrolling on my phone the whole time.

I'm not exactly a social butterfly but this girl seems to be really going out of her way to interact with me.

I don't know why and it's not really bothering me, but I'd prefer if she'd leave me alone.

Then come silence, and then we just stood on the train like that.

I could see her fidgeting a little with her fingers, why is she so nervous?

I turned my attention away and looked out the train, watching the city's skyscape pass by at a speed.

It's a nice way to pass the time when everything's boring.

The train come to a stop.

I secure my bag around my shoulder and check for anything missing before getting off with her following behind me.

"L-let's go to school together."

"...Okay."

I answered albeit a bit hesitantly, it'd be pretty weird to refuse although I dislike it.

We walked through the thin morning crowd out of the station.

I walked down the street towards the school and stop by at a convenience store on the way.

It's a 5 minute walk from here to school, I got plenty of time so I can afford to relax a little.

"I'm gonna go get some stuff okay?"

"H-huh?! Oh... Okay..."

She looked a bit startled when I talk then answer with a disappointed look.

Seriously, what's the deal?

I walked into the convenience store and grab what I want, still confused.

She just came out of nowhere and been trying to talk to me all the time lately.

And we've been going to school together all the time lately, I've rode the train to school with her a couple of time before, but she never talked to me nor was it often.
