"I told you I have a case tomorrow! I can't attend this stupid conference!"

"Oh of course you can't! You're a reaaaaal hard working man after all!"

"Don't give me any of this shit! Where were you on his birthday?!"

"..."

"Yeah I fucking thought so!"

"At least I TRY to care! Unlike someone!"

"Try? You call this trying?!"

"I make time to take care for him at home! What do YOU do?!"

"I told you I'm fucking busy!"

"Well so am I!"

"I can't deal with any of this..."

"Then go! Run like you always do!"

"You...!"

The voices continued, and they never really stopped, just breaks.

It felt like it followed me everywhere, coming back would always be nerve-wracking.

So I stayed out, came back late everyday and never got scolded for it.

Music has never been my interest, but I thought it would silence everything.

So I spent the money from all the birthdays and vacations to buy an expensive headphone at the store in front of the station. It closed down 2 years later for reasons I don't know.

And the thing worked, everything was quiet.

Everywhere I went felt peaceful, I felt like it wasn't following me anymore.

But taking it off was scary, I'm afraid the voices would come back when I do.

So I wore it everywhere, not even plugged in, just having it on calms me down.

...

"Yawn~~~"

Money was charged and food popped up in front of me.

2 days have passed since the incident.

I'm now at level 6 and progress has slowed down significantly.

Quests so far after the first weren't nearly as rewarding or thrilling as the first.

Hunting grounds for wolves were plenty but they weren't going to cut it for levelling up anymore.

Kayaba has made it so that we can interact with each other and the outside world quite a bit.

News, forums and even streams are available for those inside and out of the game.

But the majority of them were trivial or weren't very useful, most of them could already be found in the beginners' guidebook.

I quickly eat the tasteless meal in front of me as quickly as possible.

Today I'll try something new.

Tolbana is the closest town to the Town of Beginnings, it rests a little bit below the central point of the map towards the east, while the Town of Beginnings is at the southern most part of the map, resting right over the edge.

The majority of players, both those who want to fight and don't currently reside in the Town of Beginnings. Those in Tolbana are in the minority, but there have been steady streams of players moving to Tolbana.
