Alright, the situation looks bad, but I'll have to try, I'll have to make it through the three Ruin Kobolds in front of me, it'll be hard but I'll have to try.

Time wasn't on my side so I dashed forward and so did they, we clashed and I tried to secure the first kill.

Unfortunately it didn't go as I wanted, the combination of a mace user and a spearman was beyond troublesome.

The patrolling group behind was getting closer and they'd soon spot me, I have to do this now.

Just before I decided to risk it all, the spearman exploded into particles and the two remaining Kobolds were staggered.

"What're ya' lookin' at?! Move!"

Argo said in a harsh voice, which caught me off guard but I quickly do as told.

The footsteps and growls from behind me got more aggressive, they must've spotted us now.

I used //Dash Strike// and make quick work of the two remaining Ruin Kobolds.

She ran forward and I tried to follow her but couldn't catch up.

I tried to push myself as far as I could but I still couldn't reach her.

The patrol group behind was getting closer and closer.

Shit.

Just when I lowered my head and began thinking of what to do if I have to deal with them alone.

Just then, my hand was grabbed and I was yanked aggressively.

We turned at an intersection and hid inside a hiding spot, the patrolling group went by us and we were safe at last.

I was so exhausted I couldn't even remember there was a hiding spot here.

"What the hell were ya' thinkin'!"

Just before I could catch my breath, she yelled at me.

"W-what?"

"Don't "what" me! You know EXACTLY what I'm talkin' 'bout!"

"No I don't?"

What's this? Why is she mad? Did I do something wrong? What?

"Ya' lure them and just leave me there, what the hell was that?!"

What? That?

"W-what's wrong with that? You're safe right? It's my job to make sure you survive, no?"

She sighed like a parent scolding a child.

She looked calmer but still angry.

"...ya' ain't wrong, but ya' has to value your life more."

The first part was said clearly, while the last was lost under her breath.

"Huh?"

"I said, value your life more."

She said it clearly again with a perplexing mix of annoyance and relief.

What's this about? Is she-wait, no way right?

"Are you worried about me?"

"No shit!"

She snapped again and I shrank back, confused.

Why would she be worried about me? It doesn't make sense.

"...Why?"

"What?"

"Why are you worried? You know, about me."

I asked awkwardly and she looked exasperated.

"Look Rabbit-bou, I don't know just how ya' grow up but if you think that bein' worried for a friend doesn't make sense then there's somethin' seriously wrong with ya'."
