My Comic Boyfriend

Chapter - 2

Pond stood, equally perplexed, taking in Phuwin's cozy apartment, filled with comic books memorabilia and morden gadgets.

Phuwin manage to speak first "Who...what are you?"

Pond's deep, resonant voice replied "I'm Pond, the Moonlight Warrior."

Phuwin's eyes widened, his mind racing.

"The comic book character?" He asked, incredulous.

Pond nodded, his expressions serious.

"How did you....come to life?" Phuwin asked, still trying to warp his head around the situation.

Pond shrugged, his broad  shoulders flexing.

"I don't know. One moment, i was fighting dark forces; the next, i was here."

Phuwin face lit up with excitement.

"I am your biggest fan." He exclaimed, embarrassing himself.

Pond raised an eyebrow, amused.

"Fan?" Pond repeated, unfamiliar with the term.

Phuwin explained, "I read about you in the comic book. I've followed your adventures, studies your moves.....

Pond chuckled, his eyes crinkling.

"I see. Well, i am glad to meet my 'fan'."

Phuwin and Pond stood, unsure what to say next, the tension between them palpable.

Phuwin broke the silence, trying to sound casual.

"Do you need...food or water?"

Pond smiled, his lips curving.

"Thank you. Water would be nice."

Phuwin hurried to the kitchen, his heart racing.

Phuwin thought;

"What am i doing? He's a comic book character!
Is this real?
Did i hit my head?"

Phuwin returned with water, handling Pond the glass.
Their fingers touched, sending shivers run down Phuwin's body.

Pond gaze wandered around the room, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings.

He spotted the TV.

"What is that?" Pond asked, pointing.

Phuwin smiled. "Its a television. We watch shows and movies on it."

Pond's eyes widened. "Like a magical box?"

Phuwin chuckled. "Kind of."

Pond approached the TV, touching the screen.

Phuwin laughed. "You don't need to touch it."

Pond looked back, curious. "How does it work?"

Phuwin explained. "Its like.....magic, but with technology."

Pond eyes sparkled. "I want to see this magic."

Phuwin turn on the TV.
Pond watched, mesmerised, as images dances on the screen.

"By the gods." Pond whispered.

Pond gaze landed on Phuwin's phone.

"What is that small glass window?"
Phuwin smiled. "Its a phone. We use it to communicate."

"A magical mirror?"

"Kind of. You can talk to people far away."

"Show me."
"Sure, let me click your picture."

The screen lit up.
Pond jumped.

"Oh my god."

Joong and Dunk came.
As they arrived, they noticed Phuwin's apartment door ajar.

Joong called out. "Phuwin, we are here."

Dunk added. "And starving."

They entered.

Phuwin sitting on a sofa, and Pond standing beside him.

Joong's eyes widened. "Whoa!"
Dunk's jaw dropped.

Joong whispered to Dunk. "Is he a model?"

Dunk whispered back. "Or a god?"

Pond smiled, unaware of their stares.
Phuwin's gaze landed on Joong and Dunk.

"Hi, come inside"
Phuwin sense their curious gaze on Pond.
"Guys, this is Pond."

Dunk manged a weak handshake.
"Hi, you're really handsome." Dunk  blurt.
"Thank you "

Joong elbowed Dunk. "Smooth."
Phuwin grinned. "Glad you approved."

They sit on a sofa...

Phuwin gathered some courage. "Well, guys I need to tell you something."

Joong and Dunk exchanged curious glances.

Dunk leaned in. "What is it?"

Phuwin took a deep breath. "Pond came out of a book."

Joong's eyes widened in shock. "What?"

Dunk's jaw dropped, his voice barely above a whisper. "How is that possible?"

Phuwin explained, his voice tumbling out.
"It was a comic book, "Moonlight Warrior". I was reading it and then.....Pond just appeared."

Joong's face scrunched in skepticium. "You mean, like, he just popped out of the pages?"

Phuwin nodded. "Exactly."

Dunk's eyes darted to Pond, who stood calmly, observing the exchange.

Joong shook his head. "That's insane."

Dunk whispered. "But he's real."

Pond smiled wryly. "I assure you, I'm quite real."
