Dunk entered into his apartment, shutting the door behind him. He dropped his keys on the counter, exhaustion on his face. The shopping trip for Pond had been a welcome distraction. But now, alone in his apartment, thoughts swirled. Dunk collapsed onto the sofa, resting his head on the edge. His eyes closed unknowingly, replaying the kiss. Joong's lips, soft and inviting. Their eyes locking, sparks flying.

Dunk's mind reeled.
What had he done?
Joong was his friend, his confidant.
Had he crossed the line?

Dunk's thought tormented him.
How will he face Joong tomorrow?
In the office?
Would everything be awkward like today?
Their friendship ruined?

Dunk's head spin.
He couldn't shake off the feeling?
That kiss had changed everything.

Dunk's eyes opened, staring blankly.
His reflection in the window gazed back.
What have i done? He whispered.
The silence mocking him, no answer came. Just the echoes of his doubt.
Dunk's fingers raked through his hairs.
He needed clarity. But his heart and  mind wrestled. Torn between friendship and something more.

Dunk stand up from the sofa, shaking off lingering thoughts that had been swirling in his mind for hours. He couldn't change the past, nor predict the future, so for now he needed a reprieve from the turmoil that had been brewing inside him. With a sign, he headed to the bathroom, seeking solace in the warmth of a shower.

As the streaming water washed away his
fatigue, Dunk felt his thought quieting. The tension in his shoulders began to ease, and his mind, once racing with doubts and fears, slowly calmed.

Shrugging off the lingering doubts, Dunk told himself that tomorrow would bring clarity OR so he hoped. He slipped into bed, pulling the blankets tight around him, and his eyelids dropped, heavy with exhaustion. Dunk burried his feelings, leaving everything for tomorrow.

Joong woke before dawn, his mind already racing with thoughts of Dunk. As Joong lay in bed, he couldn't shake off the feeling that everything had changed. He tossed aside his covers, and padded across the room, pacing back and forth as he sought clearly. What did Dunk think? Did he feel the same? The question swirled in Joong's mind like a maelstrom.

As he walked, Joong's thought drifted back to the kiss. He recalled Dunk's expressions - hesitate, unsure yet tender. Joong's heart softened at the memory. Maybe Dunk felt it too. But what if he didn't? What if Dunk didn't felt the same? Their friendship would suffer...

As the sun rise, casting a golden glow over the room, Joong calmed. He needed to talk to him, to clear the air and establish where they stood.

With newfound determination, Joong headed to the kitchen to brew some coffee. As he waited for the coffee to drip, he gazed out the window, watching the city awaken. Today would bring answers, or so he hoped...
