Dunk looked at all of them, all were in confusion about what to do next.
"Hey, i have an idea."
"What, tell us." Joong asked.
"Let's have dinner first, otherwise the food will get cold."
"Don't joke, Dunk. We are serious this time."
"Who said, i am joking? I am all serious. And right now i am starving."
"I think we should eat first we will think about it tomorrow." Phuwin said looking at Pond.
The group sat around Phuwin's dinner table, filled with steaming dishes of thai cuisine.
Pond still marveling at human cuisine, examined his plate.
"Is this a ceremonial feast?" Pond asked.
Joong chuckled. "Just a normal dinner, Pond."
Dunk passed Pond a dish.
"Try the pad thai. This is from a famous shop here."
Pond took a bite.
Favours exploded in his mouth.
"Amazing." Pond exclaimed.
Phuwin smiled. "Glad you like it."
Pond use chopsticks incorrectly, holding them upside down.
Joong giggled.
"Dude, you're holding them upside down."
Pond laughed.
"Forgive me. In my world we use swords."
Dunk chuckled. "Swords ? For eating?"
Pond grinned. "For everything. We don't have.... utensils."
"Well, Pond what's your favourite thing about our world?" Phuwin asked.
Pond thought for a moment.
"The connection between people, in my world, bonds are forged in battles."
Joong nodded.
"Friendship is powerful."
Dunk asked. "Do you miss your word?"
Pond's expression turn into wistful.
"I miss the familiarity...the moon's glow on the battlefield."
"But?" Pond promoted.
Pond gaze met Phuwin's.
"I have found something special here."
Phuwin heart skip a beat.
After sometime;
As the night drew to a close, Joong and Dunk prepared to leave.
"I'm exhausted." Joong yawned.
"Mee too." Dunk agreed.
Phuwin walked them to the door.
"Thank's for coming over guys."
Joong grinned.
"No problem, we are glad to meet Pond."
Dunk nodded.
"And help him with the human stuff."
Pond approached, concerned.
"I have no suitable attire."
Phuwin chuckled. "We'll fix that tomorrow."
Joong's eyes lit up.
"Shopping trip! We will find Pond some awesome clothes."
Dunk high-fived Joong.
"Operation: Humanize Pond begins.
"So, lets meet here tomorrow at 10 am ."
Phuwin suggested.
"Shopping spree!" Joong exclaimed.
Dunk grinned. "We'll make Pond look stylish."
Pond smiled. "I appreciate your help."
Phuwin smiled. "We are happy to help."
Joong waved. "See you guys tomorrow."
Dunk echoed. "Bye, Pond. Get ready for a fashion makeover."
The door closed behind them.
Phuwin turned to Pond.
"You're going to look amazing tomorrow."
Pond eyes sparkled. "I'm excited."
