Wedding Bells and Planning Spells
The morning after Jimin and Yoongi's surprise marriage announcement, the group gathered at a chic café in the city. The night before had been full of toasts, laughter, and good vibes, but now the reality of planning a wedding started to sink in. As always, Jungkook was one of the first to arrive, his usual stoic expression softened slightly by the excitement in the air.
Soon after, the others arrived—Namjoon and Jin, Hoseok, Jimin, and Yoongi, the couple of the moment. There was a certain glow around Jimin, though he looked a bit overwhelmed. As everyone settled in, the conversation quickly turned to wedding details.
Jin, ever the planner, had already jotted down ideas in a sleek notebook. "Alright, we need to start with the venue. Do you guys want something outdoor? Or something more private?"
Jimin looked unsure. "I don't know… I’ve never planned a wedding before," he laughed nervously. Yoongi, his calm demeanor intact, reassured him, "We'll figure it out together. No rush."
Hoseok leaned forward, clearly excited. "What about a beach wedding? I know this gorgeous spot by the coast, away from all the noise of the city."
Namjoon nodded in agreement. "That sounds like a great idea. It could be intimate, just like you wanted."
The table buzzed with ideas—Hoseok eagerly offering to help with logistics, Jin rattling off decoration options, and Yoongi chiming in with thoughtful nods. Jungkook sat back, listening quietly. He wasn’t as close to Jimin as he was to others in the group, but he felt genuinely happy for him. From the corner of his eye, he noticed Taehyung entering the café and quietly slipping into a seat. He gave a quick nod to Jungkook, nothing more, and Jungkook returned the gesture.
Though they worked together, their relationship remained professional, marked by an unspoken distance. However, the celebratory energy around them seemed to blur the lines, even just a little.
Choosing the Date and Involving Family
The next big question came from Namjoon, ever the logical thinker. "Have you two thought about the date yet?"
Jimin looked at Yoongi, who shrugged. "We're flexible," Yoongi said. "We wanted to check everyone’s schedules first. No rush."
Taehyung, who had been quietly listening, finally spoke up, his voice smooth but casual. "You might want to give yourselves a few months. Wedding season gets booked fast, and if you’re planning on a beach, you’ll want good weather."
Jimin’s eyes lit up. "That’s a good point. Maybe we can aim for late spring or early summer?"
Yoongi smiled. "Sounds perfect."
Namjoon then raised the topic of family involvement, looking specifically at Jimin. "What about your family? Do you want to include any traditional elements, or keep it more modern?"
Jimin seemed thoughtful. "I think… a balance. My parents would love to be part of the ceremony. We could have a small blessing ceremony with just family before the actual wedding."
Yoongi nodded. "Yeah, my family’s pretty traditional too. It would be a nice way to honor them."
Jin, ever the romantic, looked misty-eyed. "A family blessing sounds perfect. Something small, meaningful, and personal."
Outfit Decisions
The conversation shifted to outfits, which brought a spark to Jimin’s eyes. "I’ve always thought about what I’d wear for my wedding, but now I’m totally lost!" he said, laughing.
