The company cafeteria buzzed with the sound of clinking utensils and the hum of conversation. Seated at their usual spot were Yoongi, Jimin, Jin, namjoon, Hoseok, and Taehyung, casually chatting and laughing while they took a rare break from the demanding schedule. The air was light, filled with camaraderie, but even amidst the laughter, something felt off.

"Where's Jungkook?" Hoseok asked, glancing toward the door.

"He's been off lately. I don't think he's coming," Jimin muttered, his eyes drifting toward Taehyung, whose expression remained stoic.

Taehyung didn't respond but stared at his phone, his fingers idly tapping the table. Everyone noticed how tense he became at the mere mention of Jungkook, but no one dared to comment.

It was only half an hour later when Jungkook finally entered, looking slightly exhausted but as striking as ever. His eyes scanned the room before landing on the group. Slowly, he made his way toward them, the weight of their gazes making him feel the tension he had tried to avoid.

"Finally decided to join us?" Jin teased with a light chuckle, breaking the ice.

Jungkook gave a soft smile but remained quiet as he sat down at the end of the table, distanced from Taehyung, not wanting to provoke any more tension after the recent argument.

Yoongi, ever the perceptive one, caught onto the distance between the two and, with a gentle nudge, decided to ease into the conversation. "We were talking about taking a short break, a trip. Everyone's been stressed out lately, especially with all the shoots piling up."

Hoseok nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, just a few days away. Clear our heads, relax, enjoy some fresh air. We were thinking about the hillside cabins we used to visit. It'd be good for all of us."

Jungkook's face faltered for a moment. The last thing he wanted was to go on a trip, especially after the unresolved tension with Taehyung. "I don't think I can make it. I have some things I need to take care of, and-" he started to decline, but Jin cut him off.

"Jungkook, you've been working just as hard as the rest of us. You need this as much as we do," Jin said, his voice firm but caring. "And if you feel uncomfortable or don't want to join, you don't need to force yourself, but this isn't about work. It's about taking care of yourself too."

Yoongi leaned forward, his voice low but direct. "If you're uncomfortable with the idea of going with us, no pressure. But don't think you have to isolate yourself. You're part of this team."

Jungkook blinked, their concern making him feel slightly guilty. He didn't want them to think that he felt uncomfortable with them, even though the tension with Taehyung weighed heavily on his mind. He had always been one to keep his feelings bottled up, but maybe this trip could help, even if he wasn't fully convinced of it yet.

"I-" Jungkook hesitated, his gaze briefly shifting at everyone. "I'll go. I mean, I don't want to make it seem like I don't want to be around you guys," he finally said, his voice quieter.

The relief was almost palpable among the group. Yoongi's lips curved into a satisfied smile, and Jimin leaned over, giving Jungkook a gentle nudge with his shoulder. "That's the spirit, Kook. It's going to be fun, trust me."

Even Jin gave an approving nod, but across the table, Taehyung stayed silent, his face unreadable. For a brief moment, Jungkook's gaze met his, but Taehyung quickly turned his attention back to his drink. The moment passed in silence, leaving Jungkook unsure whether this trip would ease the tension between them or make things worse.
