As the night settled over Jeju Island, everyone found themselves back in their hotel rooms, exhausted from the day’s activities. The sound of the waterfalls still echoed in their minds, and the hike had left them physically drained. But Hoseok, never one to let tiredness kill the fun, sent a group text to stir up the group’s energy.

Hoseok: "Get your lazy asses and join me in the campfire, you bitches!"

A few moments passed before the replies started rolling in.

Namjoon: "5 mins."

Jin: "On my way!"

Yoongi: "Bitch, I am tired."

Jimin: "I'll be there with Suga, dw."

Taehyung: "Coming."

Eun Woo: "Coming, boss!"

The group chat seemed lively, except for one person who hadn’t responded: Jungkook. His silence didn’t go unnoticed, and everyone waited for a few more moments, expecting a reply that never came.

After a few minutes, one by one, everyone began trickling down to the campfire area where Hoseok had already set up everything. The flames danced warmly, casting a soft glow against the darkness of the night. Namjoon, as promised, arrived within five minutes, followed by Jin, who immediately started talking about how much he loved the night sky.

Yoongi, despite his earlier complaint, showed up with Jimin by his side, both looking cozy in their hoodies. Taehyung arrived shortly after, followed by Eun Woo, who was brimming with energy, clearly excited for whatever fun was coming next.

They all settled around the fire, taking in the warmth, sharing small talks, and laughing lightly, though there was still one person missing. Jungkook had yet to make an appearance. As they began roasting marshmallows and chatting, Hoseok finally broke the silence about it.

"Where’s our golden boy?" Hoseok asked, looking around the group.

Taehyung glanced at the empty spot near the fire, a subtle crease forming between his brows, but he said nothing. It was unlike Jungkook to stay silent for so long, especially when everyone else had gathered.

Eun Woo got up from his seat near the fire and, with a playful roll of his eyes, announced, "I’ll bring that lazy ass. Don’t worry, guys." He waved his hand dismissively and strode toward the hotel where Jungkook was resting.

Meanwhile, Jungkook sat by the window of his room, lost in the serenity of the cool breeze that brushed against his skin. It was calming, soothing in a way that helped him forget the chaos of his thoughts and the heaviness he'd been feeling lately. The distant sound of waves crashing against the shore added to the peaceful ambiance.

But that peace was suddenly interrupted by a firm knock on his door. Jungkook blinked, snapping out of his reverie, and moved toward the door to answer it.

As expected, Eun Woo stood there, arms crossed, an amused yet slightly annoyed look on his face. "Seriously, Jungkook? Every time?" he huffed, his tone teasing but also a bit exasperated. "Do I always have to drag you out?"

Jungkook chuckled lightly, running a hand through his hair, knowing Eun Woo was right. He often secluded himself, needing that extra push to join the group. "I was enjoying the breeze," he replied, attempting to offer some excuse.

Eun Woo raised an eyebrow and sighed. "Yeah, yeah. But they’re all waiting by the campfire. You really don’t want to miss it. Everyone’s there." He looked pointedly at Jungkook, waiting for him to stop hesitating.
