                          Vanya's POV

"I changed into a new outfit, tied my hair into a low, messy ponytail, and wiped off my lipstick. I stuffed my previous clothes into my handbag and headed out of the mall. Next, I took a rickshaw and made my way home."

After 15 minutes, I reached home, paid the money and went inside. The time was 5:20 now, and I saw my mom and dad glaring at me. Oh, nothing, it's their daily routine, and now I am habitual to it.

I trudged into the living room, my handbag sliding off my shoulder. My mom's cold gaze greeted me, her eyes narrowing.

"Where have you been?" she spat, her voice venomous.

"I'm sorry I got a bit late".

"Whose presence made you spread your legs and get late?"  dad said in a disgusting way and a lone tear slipped from my eyes.

I just can't get rikshaw, I'm sorry.

Can't get rikshaw huh,my mother mocked. Now why are you standing here go and make dinner fast.

I nodded and head towards the kitchen.

"As I couldn't hold back any more tears, I started crying silently, thinking about my brutal fate."

I wiped off my tears and  took out the vegetables, chopped them, and then made sabzi. Next, I prepared chapatis and a salad. After an hour, dinner was ready. I set everything on the dining table and left the room, as I'm not allowed to eat with them.

I went into the washroom, stripped off my clothes, and stood in the shower. After 20 minutes, I came out wearing an oversized T-shirt and lower.

I applied moisturizer and braided my hair, but then my stomach started growling.

I hadn't eaten anything since morning, so I'll grab something. I came to the kitchen, put some sabzi and roti on a plate, and made my way back to the terrace. I eat my dinner there because that's the only place where I find peace.

While eating, I remembered the morning scene at the office. Dherya  treated me so well - I didn't expect this from him. I had always heard he was rude and arrogant with everyone, but no, he's totally the opposite. He was polite with me, made me his partner on the project, ordered lunch for me, and was even concerned about me. He also offered me a ride home. Oh, goodness! I seriously can't stop giggling.

"I'm thrilled with his behavior. Thank you so much, Kanha Ji."

"While lost in my thoughts, I didn't realize when I finished dinner. I quickly went to the kitchen and washed all the dishes, because, obviously, I'm just a servant in this house. Anyway, I'm happy today, so I won't overthink or cry anymore for today. I washed all the dishes, cleaned the kitchen slab, and went to my room. Then, I didn't realize when I fell asleep, thinking about Dherya.

                        Dherya's POV

After shopping, Aloo and I headed home. I saw everyone sitting in the living area, chatting as usual.

I silently made my way towards my room and first secured Vanya's gift. As I usually do, I went to take a shower and after 30 minutes, I returned to the dining area wearing a black polo T-shirt and grey sweatpants.

"Dherya, come quickly! Today, I've made all your favorite dishes, maa said smiling at me I looked at the dining table and saw all my favorite dishes: rajma chawal, kaju curry with garlic naan, salad, and finally, sweet kheer. Is there something special?" I asked while taking a seat beside hee.
