i don't own any character beside my ocs !"Daisy, hurry up! We need you back on set!" Elena's urgent knock on the trailer door jolted the redhead from her sweet nap.
Daisy groaned, blinking sleep from her eyes as she opened the door. Her hair was a chaotic mess, and her shirt was wrinkled from sleep. "El," she whined, rubbing her eyes, "Five more minutes! I need to bathe."
Elena sighed, shaking her head. "Fine, but don't take too long." With that, she turned and left, leaving Daisy to gather her thoughts.
At just 21 years old, Daisy Cox was a well-known English actress, famous for her roles in several Hollywood films, including Maze Runner, the project she was currently filming.
As she hurried to take a shower, Daisy quickly dried her hair and rushed to the set, eager to reunite with her co-stars and the crew.
"Surprised you made it on time for once," Dylan O'Brien teased as he got up from his chair to greet her. Daisy rolled her eyes and playfully hit his shoulder. "So, what scene are we filming today?" she asked as they walked together toward the makeup department.
"The one where I look super cool trying to save Minho," he replied, puffing out his chest dramatically. Daisy couldn't help but snort. "Yeah, sure."
They settled into their designated seats, waiting for the makeup artists to begin their work. Daisy pulled out her phone and scrolled through Instagram, landing on a post by Taylor Swift. Of course, she knew who Taylor was; after all, Dylan had mentioned her a few times. The post featured Taylor's album, 1989. Daisy appreciated the album's aesthetic and made a mental note to listen to it after.
Once the makeup artists finished, they changed into their outfits. Daisy slipped into some cargo shorts and a basic maroon shirt before stepping outside to join the others.
Director Wes Ball gathered the cast and crew, explaining how the scene would unfold. All the cast members listened closely, nodding at each instruction.
When filming began, everyone performed their parts gracefully. Dylan and Daisy sat next to each other, Daisy's head resting comfortably on his shoulder. They had grown close since their first meeting, their bond strictly platonic yet supportive.
"Want to grab some burgers after this?" Dylan asked, and Daisy lifted her head immediately.
"Yes, please!" she exclaimed, clutching her stomach, which elicited a laugh from him.
Once filming wrapped, they made their way to the nearest fast-food restaurant, hoping to avoid any lurking paparazzi. Fortunately, the place was nearly empty—just them and a couple seated in a distant corner.
They chose a booth in the opposite corner, debating what to order. "I'll get a cheeseburger," Daisy said, handing the menu to Dylan.
"Alright," he replied, standing up to place their order while Daisy waited at the table, playing games on her phone.
It didn't take long for their food to arrive. Dylan returned, balancing plates piled high. "Let me take some photos," he said, pulling out his phone. He snapped pictures of the food, candid shots of Daisy, and a few of them together before posting them on Instagram and tagging her.
"You could've asked me to pose!" Daisy groaned, glancing at the photos as Dylan snickered.
As they ate, their conversation flowed easily, touching on acting and personal anecdotes that made their friendship feel natural and relaxed.
After finishing their meal, they both pulled out their phones, scrolling through Instagram and interacting with various posts. Daisy reposted Dylan's picture on her story with the caption, "My burger buddy," and her phone quickly buzzed with notifications.
"Let me see who liked my post," Dylan said, scanning his likes. "Kihong, Thomas, and... oh, Taylor!" he exclaimed, causing Daisy to look up. "She even commented something." He clicked to reveal Taylor's comment, which had already garnered thousands of likes: "Hope you ate well, D." Dylan laughed and quickly replied, "Definitely did."
Daisy continued scrolling until she switched to Twitter, where she found tweets speculating about their relationship. Captions ranged from "They look good together" to "They're totally bf and gf." She chuckled, showing Dylan a particularly outrageous tweet about their supposed romance. "These people are so funny," she said, pulling her phone back just as her manager called, instructing her and Dylan to return to set.
