Jeonghan wiped his eyes "We were supposed to be doing this together." Seungcheol mentioned "And I pushed him away..why did I do that!" "Allow me to do the brunt of stressing. It is not good for the girls." "Do you think I give a damn about the girls in this moment! No! I do not.. I care more about convincing Joshua to come back home. I want to raise that boy." Seungcheol cried. "I want that too." Jeonghan agreed "But he made his choice. He does not want to be a part of our family." "So what? That's it. You are done? We just erase Joshua and his son, my son! Your son! No. I do not accept that. If you, then my opinion changes if you. For me, I will be flying to America to seek closure on our relationship." Seungcheol spoke. "How will you find him? Only Vernon knows of his location." "Vernon will accompany me. We talked already." "You cannot just go..go and leave Korea, in attempts to find closure over a man who showed us he is no longer interested." "Who have you become?" Seungcheol questioned. Jeonghan sat back against the couch remaining silent. "I will let you know when we land." Seungcheol kisses Jeonghan's cheek.
Joshua swipes his hotel card, allowing him entrance "This is only for tonight." He rubbed his belly. In return, his son kicked against his hand "Tomorrow we will meet my aunt, who has agreed to allow us to stay. Hopefully I will have a home ready before you are born. Until then, I think we need a hot shower then to bed. Oh! Maybe room service." Joshua picks up the phone "Room service, please."
"How are you feeling?" Vernon asks. Seungcheol nods his head "Super." "I will ask you again: how are you feeling?" Seungcheol looks out the airplane window "What will happen if I am unable to convince Joshua to return? Do I just..continue on with my life? My daughters will grow up not knowing of their brother? Or he will grow up not knowing of the girls? Would Joshua tell his son about his sisters..or us?" "I think, firstly, we need to find him."
Joshua was awoken by the vibration against his hand "H-hello?" He answered. "Jisoo.." "Jeonghan? How are you calling me? I blocked you." "I am using a different phone. Where are you?" "Why are you calling?" Joshua asked again. "We are not doing small talk." "I want to make sure you are safe." "Since when? You care not for me. Or him." "Don't you think you were a little rushed with emotions to up and leave? Without talking to me.. or Seungcheol?" "No. I know when I am not wanted." Joshua responded. "What if I said that I am sorry?" Jeonghan began "Sorry that my actions made you feel less than Seungcheol. Sorry that I did not fight harder for you to stay Shua. What if I told you that I do want our three babies? Our girls should know their brother. All of the babies should grow up in a place full of love and in happiness."
Joshua rubbed his belly before speaking "My son will grow up in a place full of love and in happiness because he will not know you. Goodbye Hannie."
"Please Josh-"
Joshua ended the call.
Rolling to lay on his side, Joshua pulled a pillow towards him, cuddling it in his arms "You deserve better." He whispered.
"What name do you think he registered under?" "Joshua Hong, his name." Vernon responded "Why would he use an alias?" "Sorry, sorry, I'm nervous." Seungcheol wiped his hands on his pant legs "Really, thought you were cool as a cucumber." Vernon teases.
Vernon handled the interaction in English as Seungcheol stood behind him, nodding his head acting like he knew what was going on.
"Are we sure we want to see Joshua? He made it clear that he wants to be left alone." "Only if to apologize." "Of course, follow me. It's room 316."
The elevator ride felt tense. Vernon squeezed Seungcheol's hand "There is still hope Coups."
"Room service is here." Joshua says to himself "Are you hungry baby?" As he unlocks the door he sees familiar faces "Coups." Joshua whispers "Hi Shua." Vernon waves. "Am I dreaming?" "Hello, Joshua." "Please, just let him explain himself Joshua." Vernon requested. "Is Jeonghan here?" "Only us. Please." Joshua opened the door wide.
"Jeonghan called me earlier today." Joshua started. Coups shared a look with Vernon "Did you answer?" Joshua nodded "He acted as he wanted closure, I am not sure though. What is it that the two of you want from me?" Seungcheol clears his throat "I just want to talk." "I have forgiven the both of you Coups. If you too want closure then consider I have forgiven you two." "That is not the closure-" Vernon taps Seungcheol on his leg "Can we talk about what happened Shua?" Joshua looked at Seungcheol "I think I felt jealous that Jeonghan cooed over Seungcheol, compared to me. Or to him. I can be understanding that you are carrying two babies, and I will not understand the amount of pressure of having twins, but it felt as my own experience was not as taken as happy." "Joshua." Seungcheol whispered "I'm sorry." Joshua shakes his head "It is okay, really, it's okay." "No it is not okay..I failed you." "It feels that way, yes, but, I had the other members who helped me. Wonwoo, I miss him already." "Come back home with us." Seungcheol says. "Let us retry. One more chance." Vernon catches Joshua's eyes "What do you think, Vernon?" Joshua questions. Seungcheol turns to face Vernon. "Uh- if you feel this is something that you would consider then yes, you love them." Joshua slaps his knees "It is settled then. Can I say hi to the girls? I've missed them." Joshua sits in front of Seungcheol "Hi, girls. I hope the two of you are doing well inside of there. Continue to grow, and try not to make your daddy too uncomfortable. Soon you two will meet your older brother. Stay strong, and we will be seeing you very soon." Seungcheol places both of his hands on Joshua's belly next "Hi little miss. We are anticipating your arrival."
Vernon hugged Joshua "As happy as I am about your return..just be careful." "What do you mean?" Joshua asks. "It's not meant to be menacing..just..continue to alert and careful." "What are you saying?" Vernon looks away from Joshua, scanning the room "Vernon? What does that statement mean? Should I not return to Korea? Is my son in danger? Talk!" "I think Coups from a safe place, a genuine place. I felt all of his emotions on the flight here.. it is about..Jeonghan." "Would I be safer if I stayed here?" Joshua whispered. "No." Vernon shakes his head "There was talk that if you had refused to return that he would get the law involved. Go to court, if he had to." "Is he threatening me, then?" Joshua raises his voice. "I do not think it is a direct threat, maybe a precaution." "Oh we are leaving tonight Vernon! Jeonghan and I have some talking sort." "We can wait until tomorrow. It would be less stress on the babies." Joshua zipped up his suitcase "We leave once we are all able to get tickets. Let me check for flights." "Hyung!" Vernon called out. "Vernon?" "Buy yourself a ticket home." "For when? Early in the morning for tomorrow?" He taps on his phone. "Tonight. We fly back tonight." Joshua corrected. "Alright. Tonight. Let me check the next three available flights."
