Chanyeol waves back at his daughter as she laughed out from her swing "Hi baby girl." He says. He presses his phone screen, activating the camera. Facing the phone towards his daughter, he takes a photo; her eyes were closed with her cheeks plump and red and a smile..resembling more of Baekhyun than his.

Chanyeol knew what the outcome would be if the test resulted as positive. Baekhyun was vocal of his disinterest in raising a baby, or a child at this moment. They both were guilty of doing nothing to prevent said baby.

Now he waited.

"Chanyeol I'm home! I brought home take out. Where are you baby?"
He remained silent, waiting for Baekhyun to find him.
"Yeollie? Oh! There you are. Hi, did you not hear me calling you?"
Baekhyun entered their room "No, yeah, I did." Chanyeol acknowledged.
"What are you thinking about baby?"
"Baby." Chanyeol laughed "Here."
Chanyeol passes the test to Baekhyun. He looks at the test then at Chanyeol "Is it positive?"
"It is."
"Why must you ruin everything for us?" Baekhyun tosses the test next to Chanyeol on the bed.
"Me? This was not only of my doing." Chanyeol argued.
"You never stopped me though, so it is of your own doing." Baekhyun retaliated.
"What does this mean for us?"
"For us? For you, you can be a parent Chanyeol. Keep my name off of the birth records."
"So this is it? We are going to act as the past four years just did not happen? You expect me to not act as if I was going to propose to you next weekend? How this was meant to be our year of happiness? So now..it is gone?"

Chanyeol blinked, bringing himself back to the reality.
Yoo-jin was still smiling.
Walking over to her Chanyeol asks "Are you ready to go home? You need to take a bubble bath."
"Bubble bath?" Her eyes widen "I want to take a bubble bath daddy!"
Chanyeol lifts Yoo-jin from the swing. He kisses her cheek before settling her on her feet "Hands." He reminded. Yoo-jin holds out her hand for Chanyeol to fit in his hand "Can we stop for ice cream?" "We sure can. Did you enjoy your day at the park?"
Yoo-jin jumped up and down "Yes! I did!"
"Good. Should we come back tomorrow?"
"Yes, please!"

Chanyeol was humming as he carried his sleeping daughter to their apartment, she had fallen asleep while eating her ice cream. It is a lot of work being a four year old.
He could hear her little snores.

Behind him, Chanyeol hears footsteps that are getting closer, as if they are chasing him. Tightening his grip around Yoo-jin he turned around to confront said person "Why are you following me?"
"Chanyeol. Uh, hi."
"Baekhyun. What are you doing! Why..were you following me?"
Baekhyun takes a step forward, as Chanyeol takes a step back "Is this..is she mine?"
Chanyeol huffs "She is yours only as you helped create her. Nothing else."
"Chanyeol."
"No." He responded "You.. what are you trying to do? Did you think that I would be happy to see you? That you could have one of those cute daddy daughter moments where your daughter runs into your arms? No. I get those moments. Not you."
"I want to meet her. Please." Baekhyun asks.
"Hell no." Chanyeol denied "What are you thinking?"
"She is my daughter." Baekhyun challenged.
"She is not your daughter. She is mine." Chanyeol corrected "You have done not a damn thing for you to think Yoo-jin is your daughter."
"Yoo-jin, that is her name?"
"It is." Chanyeol nodded.

"Dad?"
"Hi baby girl." Chanyeol whispers "Sorry did I wake you up?"
"Down please." Chanyeol places Yoo-jin on the pavement.
Baekhyun gasped "Hi, beautiful girl." He whispered.
"Hello." She greeted "Are you a friend of my dad?"
"He was a friend of mine." Chanyeol corrected.
Baekhyun looks up at Chanyeol "My name is Baekhyun. What is your name?"
"Park Yoo-jin." She answered. "Dad, is this..my dad's name is Baekhyun too, is that right?"
Chanyeol nodded "You are correct baby."
"Is this my dad?" She looked between the two men.
Baekhyun looks at Chanyeol "Yeah." Chanyeol confirmed "He is your dad too."
Yoo-jin steps forward towards Baekhyun "Where have you been?"
"I..-"
"Dad and I do not need you. I am happy without you. Only having dad."
Baekhyun squats down to her size "I understand."
Baekhyun stands upright "I guess there is nothing else to say. Or to fight over."
"It would seem that way."
He holds Chanyeol's hands "I am severely sorry, sorry that our lives will never led to be together again."
"As am I." Chanyeol admits.
