Walker Scobell
chapter 06 | real life

" yeah, it knows me too well
so i got no excuse
i can't lie the same way
that i lie to you "

rule number one : never, and i mean never, stand in the middle of any room during the day of sofia's fashion show

seeing that he was already broke the first rule, you can tell walker scobell is quite the inexperienced in this field.

" out of the way! " it was her assistant, leeann, that slightly pushed him. she was in a rush, he could tell, when she was running out of the room, multiple colours of fabrics in her hands, some of the leftovers coming from the rolls being left on the floor, being dragged while she ran.

walker hadn't been to a fashion show before, but clearly the back stage was not what he was expecting.

he was in what he thinks is a material source room, where all kinds of fabric and machines and equipment were placed all in one large room and sofia's hired assistants were rushing in and out of the room for measurements.

not sofia's personal assistant, of course. but in such a huge show like this one, one assistant isn't enough to handle thirty something models at the same time.

walker scobell had forgotten his room number long time ago, was it 5 minutes after the counter person said it? he forgot.

but apparently, leah, aryan, dior and charlie, who came into the building with him, had already scrambled off to their rooms before he could even ask them for help. now, he had no idea where they were.

he had received his invitation to walk the introduction of sofia's fashion show just last night. they flew to all the way to las vegas just to attend this fashion show. surprising, i know. but could anyone even reject? especially if the publicities have been pressing about this for ages.

later is better than nothing.

all this just for a fashion show, walker has this thought at first

but it's not just a fashion show, is it? it's sofia's fashion show. that's why it was so important to walker that he did it right.

on the plane, he and his friends researched on all things model related, from catwalks to runways. they asked sofia for advise despite her being the designer and not the model, and she simply replied with 'just do your best, i don't expect much'

as far as advice goes, that sucked.

sorry, sofia.

so there walker was, standing in the middle of a dressing room, unintentionally blocking people's way, lost.
