I LOVE YOU, I'M SORRY
"Just feeling my way back to you.
I can't feel, can't feel it, can't feel it.
Reach out and show a little loving.
Shine a little light on me."
── Lovers, anna of the north

THE CROWD was confused. The photographers were confused. The celebs were confused as to why Walker was speed walking the entire hallway. They didn't realise that Sofia had disappeared, but Walker did. And he was all too eager to have just one conversation with her that didn't involve strangling and shouting. Not that Sofia raising her voice was unpleasant ── he could listen to her voice all day. He just wanted a civil conversation.

Spotting her amongst one of the crowds, he followed her no matter what. Didn't matter how many interviewers were stopping him for an interview, didn't matter how many celebs were striking up a conversation with him, he was laser focused on Sofia. You could say he wasn't doing his job, but technically he's on his break after a 2 hour shift.

Eventually, Sofia found a place more secluded, hoping that she lost him along the way. She did, in fact, not. Her plan backfired.

Sofia Versus Walker : 1 to 1

She ended up in one of the buildings's side balconies facing the city, with Walker behind her. He was panting, sweating dripping from his forehead. Catching his breath, he groaned, "In heels? Really, who are you? Dorothy?"

Sofia bit back a laugh. Instead, she kept quiet, absentmindedly watching Walker struggle to catch his breath. Wrong move  ── he calmed down and the awkward silence came washing in.

He nervously chuckled before breaking the silence, "Hi flor."

"Bye," she frowned while walking past him. Away from him.

"Sofia," he called out to her. He didn't raise his voice or say it any differently than other people would say it. But her actual name coming out of Walker's mouth? That would always have a hold on her. Just like how she had one on him.

"Walker," she replied, shooting daggers at him. It didn't scare him away, it only made him feel more relaxed. The way she said his name was something he'd never get used to. The way it sounded like honey was dripping from her lips, suddenly his name was all unique and he felt special.

"Accismus," the blonde boy shot. Raising her eyebrows, Sofia didn't expect him to pull that card.

Don't, was exactly what her eyes were telling him. Don't pull that card, not now.
But his eyes told another story. You pinky promised, don't you remember?

Neither of them could ever forget the only pinky promise that Sofia has ever made. Isn't that so weird? Sofia always felt the need to keep her promises ── even if her heart strings have snapped a million times, she'd still climb mount Everest for someone if she had promised them something.
