A DIARY ARTICLE FROM SOFIA'S JOURNAL
23/12 ,
I'm going to rip my eyes out.
What I planned to be the most relaxing week of my life, turned out to be the most, absolute busiest week of my life ! Talk about an overworked designer, I'm a starved, dying, exhausted one.
On the 20th of December, my manager had to pull me out of my holiday for a winter fashion festival in London. I know. Awful. I'm probably going to request a change in managers. Screw probably ── I absolutely will.
After starting from scratch, I finished just on time for the festival. Right on the dot.
And then guess what!
No, really, you'll never fucking guess!
Dramatic cue... I have more work! I know, right? How fucking surprising!
Turns out, I got invited to the PJO premiere last minute. Perhaps they just wanted to pull a publicity stunt ── I don't know, don't care ── but ever since the rumours with He Who Must Not Be Named , they've been trying to ship me to Canada for more publicity work. Seriously! All I did was a little bit (no, I in fact, did a lot of a little) of costume work. What's the point of getting me to show my face?
Unfortunately, no matter how many bloody times I persuaded my manager to turn them down, (I, in fact, begged 28 times in three days) he insisted. Like literally, insisted. I'll never understand men who think they know what's best for me or my career.
Speaking of men who think they know what's best for me, or me in general. I hope I don't run into He Who Must Not Be Named. I am begging, pleading and offering my liver to not run into him. Not even eye contact. After our last encounter (more like full on fight), I can't face him.
But I also can't face him because I look like a mess! Heavy eye bags and all!
