Was it pointless to let go, Of the voice that held me tight? In the silence, I ponder slow, Should I return to the endless night? The chains were heavy, the pain was real, Yet familiar, a twisted friend. To break free, to truly heal, Or to circle back, to the same end?The echoes of the past call out, A siren's song, a haunting plea. But deep inside, there's a doubt, is it pointless, or is it just me?To let go of what once was, to embrace the unknown, Is it still pointless?
