Sparks flew, but I kept silent, Knowing I didn't have a chance with you. Stayed up all night, a smile on my face, for once, I was happy, just us two.

Saying good morning brightened my day, every word you said, a gentle ray. Wrote things for you, but you didn't see, it's okay, you don't feel the same for me.

Two years, no regrets, just memories made, wishes on stars, hoping I'd find my hope. Some say everything happens for a reason, I believe you were brought to me, a changing season.

Now you're in pain, a broken heart, I stand here, offering a hand, a fresh start. But it seems you don't want it, feeling hopeless, Guess I never had a chance, just a fleeting closeness.

Don't push me away, I'm here to stay, even if it means breaking my heart to heal yours today. Don't think you're hurting me, because you're not, you're just in love with someone else, a different spark than what I feel.

I'll be whatever you need me to be, just don't push me away, please, don't flee.

even if the sparks are silent between you and me....
