When I woke up in my bed, I found myself surrounded by the doctor and my parents. However, the doctor looked rather surprised while my parents were in shock and disbelief. When I asked what was wrong, my parents motioned the doctor to say it:
"You've been dead for a day now."
My eyes popped out, shocked my the information. When I asked how that was even possible, the doctor said that it might've been something new that was in my body, and that he needed me to stay here for a while to test further. My parents looked rather pleased with it, because their son was the first known case.
"Mr. and Ms. Weaver, I think this will be the last time before I start my testing on your son.""Don't worry, we know." My mom said. Then she got closer and pecked me on the cheek. "Be strong and fearless, Gary." She then left the room.
My dad, however, looked rather down for some reason. When I asked why, he asked the doctor to not listen, and so after he did so, my dad whispered into my ear: "It was Nothing, right?" When I was perplexed but understood by what he said, he said to the doctor to take care of me, and left. The doctor then said, "I'm a bit curious, Gary. I'm wholly a religious man. So... when you died, what did you see there?"
"Just... nothing, really."
He rolled his eyes. "Oh well, better than not asking. Sometimes when people went through something like you, you won't be able to remember properly." He got up and went to the door. "We'll start out test tomorrow, so just take a rest."
When he left, I don't whether I should be afraid or not.
