Chapter 3

Moon and Earth both ran to their brother's scream. Their mechanical hearts pounding with fear.
"Lunar? What happened? Why did-," Moon stopped short as he spotted the wrecked animatronic climb the castle wall and crouch down low on the ground. Lunar took steps back and slide slightly behind Moon.
"What is that thing??" Earth asked.
"Hell if I know. It came from the ball pit," Lunar replied, "it pounced at me!"
"Did it come from the portal?" Moon questioned, more to himself.
The thing whined, its head spinning once before tilting its head up. Red eye lights stared back at them, a hit of curiosity as they changed to question marks. It glanced at them all, only tilting its head slightly. It seemed confused as it let out several broken glitched noises.
Its face was a violet and Lavender split. It's night cap tilted off to the side of its head. Its body was lengthy like Moons, and had colors similar to Lunars. Its pants the classic Moon style as it had red ribbons tied like a belt.  Its body was a bit wrecked. Its casing cracked in multiple places and half its face plate was missing.
Was its voice box broken? Moon thought, taking a slow step forward.
"Can you understand me?" Moon asked.
"What are you doing?" Lunar questioned, slipping behind Earth.
"We should stay back Moon," Earth added to her little brother's question.
Moon waved him off as the ruined animatronic hesitated, nodding slowly.
"I can fix your voice box."
The ruined animatronic watched Moons every move. Only backing away once as Moon reached for the back of its head. It narrowed its eyes as Moon held up his hands. Suddenly baring its sharp shark like teeth.
"Wow. Ok ok." Moon slipped back a few step, "they don't like that."
Glancing over them again, Moon noticed a few exposed wires and he glanced at lunar. Who was looking a few feet away. He took a few steps away from his sister and let out a sigh. He gave Moon a tired look and held out his hands.
"If Gemini asks, he attacked me."
"Why-." Earth was interrupted as the ruined animatronic let out a small cry, its body stiffening and shaking.
Falling face flat against the ground Moon stood above it. Kneeling down to look closer to the components set up.
"What was that?" Earth asked, her voice squeaking from surprise.
"Moon asked me to  knock it out," Lunar said nonchalantly.
Earth turned to her brother with a really face and Moon let out a nervous laugh.
"It wouldn't let me close enough to fix what I need to fix." Moon defended, "I only asked Lunar for a light shock."
"Let's just hope it can give us some answers where Sun and Solar went."

Back with the Solar Squad

Sun let out a groan as they met more grain fields. Walking up a small cliff, They had been walking for a few hours. Seeing miles upon miles of fields.
"Don't tell me this is a dimension with only grain," Sun grumbled, slumping down beside Solar as his legs were hanging off the edge.
"I wouldn't be surprised."
Solar stood, looking at the distant horizon. His eyes scanned it lazily, his gaze turning to the sky as the sun started to set. The orange, reds, and pink hues coving the sky in beautiful swirls with the approaching darkness. Solar relaxed a little. At least they weren't in any immediate danger. Though he calculated that the odds of going home soon was low.
"The Fuck." He let out a curse, making Sun jump as he looked up at Solar.
"What was that for?"
"Up."
Sun blinked in confusion and stood, looking where Solar was staring. If his eyes could move, they would be wide as plates as he gasped.
"WHEN THE FUCK DID THAT GET THERE?!"
