Chapter 8

Moon let out a frustrated sigh as he leaned against his chair. He tapped his fingers restlessly on the armrest, glancing at the semi repaired animatronic on the table. After a few sentences, something in the bots systems short circuited. Casing it to screech out in pain before dropping dead.
Moon had tried everything he could, but something was keeping it from staying charged more than a couple minutes. When he searched the bots systems for which dimension it came from, it had been wiped clean. Even what model of AI it was.
Something or one didn't want anybody knowing their location. Moon cursed the force blocking his attempts of finding his brother and friend. It has already been a few hours and with every growing second, Moons anxiety worsened. So much  so that Lunar had to call Earth multiple times to calm him down.
He didn't even know if this thing was connected to them. But it was the only lead he had and it had failed.
Moon leaned his head in his hand as he typed into the computer. Sending a command for the portal to scan for Suns or Solars unique code again. Minutes stretched into what felt like hours as the portal whirred, its sensors reaching across the dimensions in search of a trace.
"Where are you two," Moon muttered, "why can't I find you?"

Back with the solar squad

Solar let out a pained yelp as he was shoved to the ground. Twitching from pain as his body locks from the pressure.
"H-hey! Don't hurt him." Sun spoke, struggling against the others holds.
He looked panicky at Solar. His mechanical heart pounding under his casing as his fans spun. Shit shit.
As soon as they told him to put Sun down, they had showed their hostility. Solar had just slipped Sun off his back when one from the side snatched one of his rays and throw him to the ground. Pinning the Eclipse to the ground by his foot as he held out a short stick. The second that it sparked, made Suns and Solars body's grow cold. Solar yelps as the shock ran through his body.
"Stop! He hasn't hurt anyone!" Sun tried, reaching to his friend. But two others took his arms and lifted him up. Moving away from the others as Sun continued to fight.
Shit. Solar. Solar continued to let out whines as a few more shocks ran through his systems. Oily tears streaming from his eyes as he felt his heart drop. He wanted to scream, but all that came out were strangled cries. Locked behind his voice box as it scrambled.
Sun. Where's Sun?! Went through his mind. He could still hear him shouting. Though they grew distant, muffled by the searing pain and the disorienting hum of static in his circuits. His systems were forcing him to shut down. St-stay. A-a-alive.
In a panic, a warmth welled in Suns under casing. Running through his arms and legs. Making his fans run to cool him off. It felt like his body was numb as pins and needles were scattered through it.
Tears were also welling around Suns eyes as his system picked up a message. Blinking them away, it passed across his vision. Stay alive.
He glanced at Solar, his body no more moving as they lifted him up and started to drag him. Sun forced his body go limb as he took shaky breathes. Snapping his eyes shut as he calmed the storing panic.  Forcing his body to stop shaking.
He had calm down. He was no help to either of them if he panicked and got himself killed.
Solar... you have to hold on, he thought. Because I will find you.
