Chapter 9

"Dam, this one has definitely been through hell," one spoke to his partner.
"Mhm. Poor guy. Wonder which one did it this time." The other questioned as they laid the Sunny animatronic on the table.
"High bets on the brother. He seemed to be really attach to the Eclipse."
"Weren't you too?"
The other grimaced and his gaze hardened as he turned back to the computer, "I was dumb back then. Let's get him fixed. He gosh dam needs it."
They two had worked on fixing Suns legs and checking his system for any bugs. polishing his casing and repairing the cracks.
Turning him on once they were finished, Sun jerked up. Eyes widened in panic as he glanced around. Flinching as he held his head.
"So-Ow ow," he groaned, "the hell."
"Calm down. You're safe. The headaches from my friend doing some systems checks." They said with a cheerful smile.
Sun shook his head, letting his rays spin once as he looked up from his hands. In front of him was a solar model. Much like his own, but slimmer and shorter. Their rays colored with a ray of colors to mimic a child's scribbling. Soft baby blue eye lights looked him over as he bounced on his heels. He was wearing a dark green apron with the daycare logo and their matching red stripped pants.
The other was turned away from him. But was another Solar model. The classic Dandelion yellow and tan like his friend. Sporting a dark blue hoodie and gray pants.
Oh boy. More dimensional visions of himself. The one in front of Sun was definitely him. The other could be Solar, an Eclipse. He should have expected this. They were in another dimension. They had been traveling through fields for a while so he kinda forgot about the chance.
"Hmmmm. You're a calm one, aren't ya." The one in front of him spoke, "Usually the new ones panic."
That snapped Sun out of his trance as his eyes flicked back to him.
"Y-yes well. I've seen a lot," Sun muttered, "where am I?"
"Oh? Right. You're in Haven! I'm Cielo." Cielo smiles, "and that's Orion. Don't worry, we can show ya around Sun."
"How did-."
"Nah uh. You're not dragging me around the dam town again." Orion countered, pushing himself up and grabbing his laptop.
"Awwww but we have a duty to show the newbie how great this place is!" Cielo whined as his friend stepped to the door.
"He'll probably not stay anyway.  we tased his friend."
Orion had a mix of pink eye lights and black pupils. A calm voice and blank expression. Cielo pouted as he walked out, letting his arms sag.
"He's always such a grump. I swear he's more Moon than Sun." Cielo sighed, "anyway, we should get you up and walking."
Sun hummed as he pushed the blanket off and slid his legs over the bed side. It took a couple of tries and Cielo's help to get used to the new legs but the moment he did, the other Sun pulled him out of the room.
Leading him through a living room and to the front door. Sun flinched as he shielded his eyes from his counter part.
He was greeted with a settlement type town. Log and straw roof buildings surrounded a gravel
plaza. Different animatronics of various types and shapes made their way through.
"Welcome to Haven. Where animatronics alike gather from various different dimensions." Cielo explained.
"They all travel from different dimensions? Like a pit stop?"
"Mhm. I believe Haven was an abandoned dimension before animatronics started to settle here permanently."Cielo said as he walked into the plaza.
Sun jogged to keep up, listening to Cielo ramble as he gazed around. Frowning as he didn't see anyplace that fit where they could put Solar.  Dam it, he wasn't gonna get anywhere if he kept up like this.
Cielo sighed as he saw Suns expression change. A small tug of regret welled up in his chest. He was thinking about the Eclipse, his friend? Cielo didn't understand how Sun would worry so much for someone like Eclipse.  Hasn't he hurt him enough that there should be a hatred.
"You're still worried about him," Cielo asked, "Eclipse."
"He's my friend and his name is Solar," Sun defended.
"Solar? He's still an Eclipse and they aren't good people." Cielo's tone sharpened.
"I know where you're coming from," Sun says, "but Solar isn't-"
"Do you really!? Because it seems like you stupidly trust him," Cielo snapped, spinning on his heels.
His expression faltering as Sun looked at him with the same intensity. His white eyes seemed to hold a flame that Cielo had only seen once before.  His expression tied into a frown.
"I do. I would assume since you are a Sun that you had one that was less than ideal as well and I get the hatred, but Solar isn't like them." Sun said, "he is a rare Eclipse that has suffered and took it instead of giving the suffering back."
Cielo looked down and began fidgeting with his hands. A nervous habit all Suns shared.
"He's 1 in something chance. Moon explained it once but hell if I understood," Sun shrugged his shoulders.
"Your Moons still alive?" Cielo questioned, making Sun tilt his head as he saw at the fearful look in the other's eyes.
"Yes and he's no doubt working his ass off trying to find us. Didn't yours- oh, right."
Sun had to remember that this was another him. He had to assume he had a similar experience as him when it came to Moons and Eclipses. Ceilo must be one that had gotten away. He shouldn't push him on it, but he could use it.
"Sorry. It's not everyday one meets another dimensional you that's not a sociopath." Sun apologized.
"You've met a Sun that's a sociopath?"
"That's another story, but I can guaranty that Solar isn't like his dimensional counterparts."
Cielo looked around nervously. He wanted to believe Sun. Though he knew from personal experience that Suns tended to lie. Hell, he did sometimes.
It was something that others easily missed about them. He saw it multiple times from other Suns. They were all innocent, about how they were fine, and their Moons had believed them. Cielo calmed down, Sun didn't seem like he was.
"Ok. I'll help you."
