Chapter 10

With Solar
Solar groaned as his vision returned. He looked at the dark starry sky. Letting out a sigh as his hands and legs were bond with rope. Well, this is great. He had no clue where he or where Sun was and Looking at his internal clock, a few hours have already passed. Surprised they didn't use me for spare parts. Solar had thought grimly. The lingering question of what they wanted still remained.
Listening to the voices and tones, he could easily guess at least 5 others were there. Funny thing was, they all sounded similar to Sun. Their tones shifting from high and low. Wouldn't it be funny if it was a cult of Suns. Solar chuckled softly.
"I would watch what ya wish for Sol."
Suns voice made Solar jolt. Cursing he looked to his side, Sun giving his signature smile.
"The hell. What are you doing here? You could get caught?" Solar hissed.
"Oh hush and let me get these ropes off."
Sun crouched in front of him and gently tugged on the ropes. Fiddling with the knot.
"You were fixed?"
"One of the Suns knows how to do repairs." Sun explained, "think he said his name was Cielo."
Solar hummed as he watched Sun struggled. Their hands were a bit stubby. Never good with small wires or ropes.
"Oh my goodness. Let me." Solar pulled away from Sun and tore the ropes a bit with his teeth. When he handed them back, he was met with Suns puzzled stare.
"What?"
"When did you get teeth like that?" Sun asked, Tearing the rest of the rope.
"Eclipse added it to my emotes when he built me. How did you think I ate?"
Sun finally got the one around Solars legs, helping him up. Solar stretched, rolling his joints and checking his systems.
"They didn't hurt you, Sol?"
"I'm fine." Solar said and snuck behind a tent. Sun following, "dam. I've never seen so many in one place."
"And I've never seen a Sun so trusting in their enemy," a deeper voice spoke behind them.
"Oh come on," Solar grumbled and put his hands up.
The two were pushed towards the group, several eye lights landing on them. Cielo had glanced away and Orion looked unimpressed.
Another Sun with a reddish tint and pure white eyes walked towards them. Frowning at Sun and scowling at Solar.
"I was hoping when Cielo fixed you, that you would join us Sunrise," he spoke, sending a glare at said animatronic.
"Um, no offense, but I got my own priorities," Sun spoke, "just let us leave and-."
"You may leave. The Eclipse is gonna suffer for the pain his kind has caused." He said, making Solar flinch.
"Suffer?" Solar squeaked softly.
"For what? He hasn't done anything to you," Sun countered.
Solar felt his casing crawl. He knew the numbers. 99% of the time they cause havoc and brought pain. Even if they didn't mean it.
Solars mind flouts to his own dimension. Stuck in the cloudy mind of his own Sun. Talking to him whenever Sun wasn't taking care of the children. Comforting him when Moon upset him.
Then a flash of red crept from behind his eyes and he was brought to the worst day of his life. Bolting out of Moons room when he lashed out at Solar. Hearing his mechanical heart thud behind his casing as cold fear gripped him. The day Sun-
"Shit."
Suns curse lifted him from his inner torment. His head snapping to the animatronic as he analyzed the situation. Sun was holding his moon side, his face contorted in pain. The red tinted Sun was screaming, but it was muffled as Solar focused on Sun.
"Are you ok?"
Solar gently took Suns hand, but Sun refused to let him see. Giving him a weak smile.
"The hell did you do to him," Solar demanded, disappointed by Suns dismissal, but his growing anger triumphed.
The Red Sun ignored the anger directed to him and waved over Cielo. Who hesitantly stepped forward.
"He doesn't need your concerned, Eclipse. Take Sun-,"
"The hell he does. Suns my friend and my responsibility till we get home. So. The.hell.did.you.do?" Solar growled, glaring at him.
The multiple eye lights turned hostile. Piercing Solar's casing like hot irons. Warning him to act. Sun felt the heat of their glares. Their internal fans spinning to cool their growing anger. He had to stop this before Solar got hurt.
Cielo had attempted to gently pry Sun away from the hostility, but Sun only nudged him away. Cielo catching his warning gaze.
Sun took a hold of Solars arm, firmly pulling him to his chest. Solar stopped mid sentence, his anger quickly fading as he felt the closeness of Sun. Replaced with a soft warmth of the other's chest and a soft purr of his inner machinery.
Sun spoke softly, enough for only him to hear and placed a firm hand on Solars chest. Prodding him to close his eyes. Once he did, there was a flash and Solar felt his body jolt with an unexpected energy. His casing feeling like a thousand needles till everything went silent.

In the main dimension

Lunar jolted awake as imagines flashed in his mind. His breathing was rapid as the panic prickled at his casing. Slowly fading as he realized he was in his own room. Tucked under a blanket sound asleep.
Shaking his head, he kicked the blanket off and slid off the bed. Going into the main living room where Monty, Earth, and Moon sat. Earth was talking as The boys listened. Giving shuffle hums of acknowledgement.
"I just saw them." Lunar said, directing the other's attention.
"Hm? Saw who?" Earth asked.
"Solar and Sun. I saw them."
