Y/n finished playing with a soft smile.
The young Deetz still found herself staring at her supposed to be just 'friend' until her mother came.

"Oh.. hello you two. I thought i lost those." Lydia sits down beside her daughter.

"That was taken the of the all night mario mava horror fest. I was nine pregnant with you. My water broke at Kill baby Kill." The engaged woman explained as she looked at the picture.

Her memories still seems fresh like it had only happen yesterday.

"Dad's favorite movie." Astrid points out with a small smile.

"Can i keep this?" She asked rather eagerly.

The woman stayed quiet for a moment. Not a bad kind. Maybe.. it's just because she finally held a small conversation with Astrid without any argument. "Yeah."

"I really like that Model of Winter River too. Did grandpa made that?" Astrid asked out of curiosity and awe with the said model.

"No, that belonged to the Maitland's.. Y'know.. the non-existent ghost couple." Lydia attempted to humor her daughters beliefs.

Y/n— who was still on the floor with the guitar in hand, simply watched the mother and daughter happily.

Having big hopes that by the end of the week, the mother and daughter would finally reconcile.

However, Lydia was then sent to a panic as she saw the pamphlet Astrid saw before, hastily grabbing the piece of paper.

"Oh yeah, i found that on the floor. Hey, who's Beetlejuice—"

"Don't ever say that name! Not ever!" Lydia cuts off her daughter.

However, The young Deetz had different ideas and after a short pause. "Beetlejuice-"

"No! Astrid, I'm serious. If you say that name three times, really bad stuff's gonna happen!" The mother explained frantically.

Oh no-

Y/n then got up and tried to calm down the older Deetz.

"Like what-" Astrid pressed.

"In fact! This Attic is off limits to both of you! Do you understand me?" Lydia continues, not even a knowledging her daughter's question.

Lydia then pulled Astrid to her feet and she ushers her out.

Y/n of course followed close behind after setting down the guitar on the floor.

"Uh, yeah. I understand that you're crazy!" Astrid yelled as she marched out of the attic her mother and friend following behind her.

"Miss Lydia, are you-"

"Not! Now, Y/n. Please." The woman exclaimed to the said girl and walked away doing a very weird breathing exercise.

Why does she sound like a moose?

So, with no one else to help, Y/n faced Astrid.

"You guys were doing so well." Y/n whines.

"It's not my fault my mother's crazy."

"That's offensive to your mom, Astrid."

"I don't care."
