Hello everyone, and welcome back to Beast Wars Prime. Today with a long-awaited guest star and some new characters. Before we begin though, I have been approached by a couple of artists about making art for this story. I am also aware of art scam currently going around as well so I'm going to nip this in the bud. I do NOT have the money to commission art for my story. However, if anyone wants to make fanart of my story, permission granted, just make sure to mention the fic if you post it. Thank you, and please enjoy today's chapter.

From atop a nearby ridge in her beast mode, Arcee looked out over at the ruined city of Tarn. She and her group had been traveling for a day and a half and decided to set up camp for the night once the city appeared in the distance. It didn't seem like a long distance to get there, but the terrain would be difficult. The planes between them and the city were still littered with traps left over from the war. Fortunately, they had a reliable map.
Something else was wearing on her though. For the last half day of travel, she felt a strong urge to head towards Paradon. Being twin cities, she knew that it was only a little further than Tarn was now. However, now that she'd stopped, she noticed something else. A little orange and black beast bot with four legs was jumping around just outside her field of vision. Its appearance reminded her of an Earth animal called a Tasmanian Devil.
"Are you okay?" June asked, drawing her sisters' attention off of the bot in question. She'd asked earlier and apparently; she was the only one who could see it.
"Yeah, it's just." She began, trying to find the right words to convey what she was feeling.
"If you need to go elsewhere Arcee." Goldbug spoke quietly in his vehicle mode, startling the sisters. "You can."
"Couldn't sleep either, eh commander." Arcee smirked.
"Still not used to that." Goldbug replied as he transformed. "It's one thing to be told I'm a leader, but another to believe it."
"Speaking of, have you got a name for your team yet?" June asked.
"I just hope your naming skills have improved over the years." Arcee began, the smirk never leaving her muzzle. "Optimus once told me you considered using the name."
"I haven't got anything concrete yet." Goldbug interrupted. "And please don't mention that to Charlie. It's bad enough Optimus told you." The fact that he'd considered using the name "Badassatron" when he was young was mortifying enough. Charlie would never let him live it down.
"She won't hear it from me." Arcee replied, catching how he didn't include June in that request. "But you are right. I feel this strange urge to go to Paradon instead of Tarn." She neglected to mention the little pup still trying to get her attention. No sense in bots thinking she was crazy.
"Well, you wouldn't be a lone wolf if you did everything with us." Goldbug joked, causing June to giggle a bit. "Permission granted."
"Thanks." Arcee drawled as she switched to her cycle mode. "I'll check in with you in about twelve hours...Badassatron." She replied before speeding off.
"Badassatron?" June asked.
"ARCEE!" Goldbug yelled, but the Maximal was out of sight.
As she sped away from her now irate friend, Arcee was surprised to see that the little pup she'd seen earlier was leading her across the plains towards Paradon. More to the point, it was running on all fours and still managing to keep ahead of her two-wheeler mode. Just what was this little guy.
