Hello everyone, and welcome to the first half of the last chapter. I tried to make it so this would be the last one before the epilogue, however I got hit with three solid weeks of writers' block after publishing the last chapter and I didn't want to leave you all hanging for another month. However, you now get three more chapters instead of only two. That said, who's ready for a blend of surprises, mystery guests and thrills? Enjoy!

Several thousand lightyears away from Cybertron, Unicron was making his way towards the newly remade planet. After transforming for the first time in eons, the chaos bringer immediately busied himself in devouring the two planets closest to him. True, they were lifeless, but he'd need the energy for the long journey. And he didn't discriminate.

Within the dark gods' body, a meeting was taking place between the remainder of his forces and his avatar. Galvatron, the Horrorcons, Combaticons, and the remaining Predacons were all gathered in a temple near Unicrons' spark chamber. A side of the temple was open, exposing the giants' spark and before it, observing them, was Nemesis Prime.

"So, now that you are free." Galvatron began. "Our deal is concluded. And I shall claim my reward and rule Cybertron until the end of time. Yes." He added with a dramatic flourish.

"No." Nemesis Prime replied. In the background, Unicrons' spark pulsed in time with the words he and the avatar spoke.

"Excuse me?" Galvatron replied in both confusion and anger.

"OuR bArGaIn, My AnTi-PrIMe," They continued. "InCluDeD tHe DeStRuCtIoN oF oPtImUs PrImE." Nemesis Prime strode up towards his herald. "aNd ThE pRiMe StIlL lIvEs."

"You insisted on fighting both Optimus Prime and Magmatron personally." Galvatron argued. "That violates the deal between us!" He was almost immediately wracked with the worst pain Unicron had ever inflicted upon him as he was lifted into the air.

"ThE bArGaIn Is WhAt I mAke It, GaLvAtRoN." They began over the heralds' screams. Unicron was truly beginning to lose patience with his Anti-Prime. However, he did require him for one final task. "iF yOu StIlL DeSiRe To RuLe CyBeRtRoN, tHeN yOu MuSt ElImInAtE bOtH oPtImUs PrImE, aNd ThE oRgAnIc LiFe ThAt InFeStS yOuR wOrLd."

Galvatron crashed to the ground near Nemesis Prime as the pain receded.

"With what forces?" Galvatron hissed in pain as he climbed back to his feet. "We have no Titans, no element of surprise, and no way to make more Vehicons." Out of the near billion drones the Vehicon generals made there were now only a few million were left. The humans had been more effective at routing the drones than they'd thought.

"That's actually valid." Onslaught added, stepping forward with a Cy-Gar in his mouth. "Unless you've got something up your sleeve, the only way you'd win is directly." Even he couldn't formulate a good plan to stop a bot the size of a planet.

"I dO iNdEeD." Nemesis Prime and Unicron replied, turning to the Combaticon leader. "tArAnTuLaS." Said scientist descended from the ceiling in his spider mode, observing the crowd with his eight optics, making sure no one was absent from this meeting.

"The trick with this operation, colonel." Tarantulas began before transforming and dropping to the floor on Nemesis Primes' other side. "Is to turn our enemies against each other." Reaching behind him, he pulled out a large red glowing canister. "And with this, we can do just that."

"And that is?" Slog asked. He got a very strange feeling about that canister.

"A special virus combining the potency of the ancient rust plague and the latest advances in the field of shadow play." Tarantulas announced with glee. "This microbe, once within a host (organic or mechanical), releases a signal that pushes anger and aggression to stratospheric levels. Throw in a dash of red energon so it will reproduce faster than a body can fight it, and voila." He brandished the canister again.
