Chapter 13/The girl.......

Brian's POV

I couldn't sleep, I tossed and turned until finally I gave in to the urge to party, I was so excited, I'm really lucky to have made her mine.my sunflower

When I got there I met Jeff and I told him the turn of events,he was so happy for me, I wanted to party not get drunk, everyone at the club had high spirits whilst some looked for some mischief of some kind, couples trooped in and out and I wished I brought her along well maybe I'll bring her along some other time.
       There was something off with Jeff,his laughter sounded off,it looked like he was trying in vain to enjoy himself,but I shrugged it off,it may be a minor problem anyway. we chatted away laughing at some jokes made by people it was fun it felt just right.

Lara appeared from the attic holding a small bag, she looked damn hot and sexy but I'll choose my Eva any day I grinned.
I saw the hurt in Jeff's face as he spotted her and I could feel the tension between them, something was definitely wrong.

"Hi Lara, how've you been"
she gave me a small smile that didn't reach her eyes
I noticed she's declined two offers to dance already and Jeff fisting his hand at each offer

"I'm good Brian, I hope your hungover didn't hurt much"she asked
she  avoided even a glance at his direction

"you go going somewhere"I asked subtly

"umm yeah I'm moving out"

Jeff's eyes widened in shock, well he didn't see this coming neither did I
what has this fucked up son of a bitch done

"no Lara, you're not leaving me are you"he asked in disbelief
she ignored him and spoke directly to me

"I'm leaving, enjoy your time here"she said and left although not before I saw the hurt flash in her eyes

"go stop her"I whispered to Jeff who sat muted in shock

as if on impulse he ran to her and kissed her.
       way to go man, I smiled
but my smiles didn't last long as she pushed him away and kicked him on his balls
he crunched down in agony as she muttered some unkind words and stormed off.
gosh she must really be mad

I went to pick Jeff up the floor only then did I notice the tears
              shit
Jeff rarely cried and I knew instantly he needed space.

"I'll leave now man but when you're ready to talk I'll be there okay"

he nodded and made for his room
the club was still crowded but he had lots of staff to manage the crowd.he was doing well and even did a good job fighting his demons so what the hell happened.

I left with my thoughts promising to call him tomorrow but I couldn't deny the fact that I'd be devastated if Eva left me
I'd better not go there I know she fucking loves me and she's nothing like my fucking ex.

I think it's high time I stopped working with the state and focus on my business and I hope Eva would consider working with me.

Eva's POV

Everyone was busy today at work me included our superiors brought up a new database and dealing with it was exhausting .But Brian was no where to be seen, should I call him, am I been too clingy?
I focused on work and did my best to complete it, I rubbed my temple where it hurts and decided to take a break, still no Brian.
I sigh, maybe he got some unfinished business, after all he had his own company to run.

I got to my office after lunch only to find the same intimidating lady I saw the other day
she was wearing a pink jeans and a matching shirt and jacket she looked really intimidating and beautiful at the same time but her face was filled with fury.

I was really nervous in her company
         shit
just what I needed

"how may I help you ma"

"fuck you Brian's mine and you can't change that"she screamed at me

       it finally dawned on me

so I finally get to meet the girl he left for me
            Julia..............

one on one at that
       just great!

"get the fuck off Brian's life"

"ummm.....ma it's for us to decide and sorry to say you have no business in our business "I replied my temper flaring after all she wasn't my superior or anything

she stepped forward and hit me across the face, it stung I held myself enough not to retaliate

"you bitch,you gold digging whore "she spat at me
   I was hurt it's never been always money bitch I wanted to say but I stood muted

"Brian's mine....how could a nothing like you come between us"she sobbed

"you're his past,you can't blame me for your drifting apart"

"fuck you!!"she screamed at me in disgust
I really needed rest

"I won't give up on him just yet and you better be warned stay away from him"

"you should be saying that to him not to me it's not up to me to decide for him"I screamed impatiently I refused to be looked down on

   "it's my last warning darling I better not see you with him again"she was almost out the door

      "and who are you to decide that"I asked daring her to reply

"we'll see bitch "with that she slammed the door to my face

             fucking asshole

I didn't like competition but I think she's left me no choice for Brian I'm ready to give my all because we're future.

A/n: shit!! Julia really ruined my mood,is she the one for Brian? I know some believe in second chances but  is she really worth it
