Taylor's POV

"Travis, what if they don't like me?" Nervousness takes over and I force myself to take deep breaths and keep my tears in as Travis walks over to me and rests his hands on my face, lightly running his thumbs over my cheeks.

"They're going to love you, baby. Not as much as I do, but you get the point." He reassures me and gives me a quick kiss. "Also, you look beautiful tonight." His eyes skim over my outfit. I'm wearing a red and white plaid dress that goes down to my mid thigh with short puffer sleeves and my Doc Martens.

"Thank you, honey. You look very handsome tonight too." Travis is sporting some black shorts and a gray Eras Tour shirt. I love this man.

"Now, we need to get going or we'll be late." I nod and pick up the basket I put together to help me make a good first impression. It consists of a bottle of wine, a few Eras Tour shirts, and some candles I picked out for Kylie and Donna. I was going to get some gifts for the girls, but Travis had informed me that they'll be with Kylies parents. Travis takes my hand and leads us outside to the car, opening the door for me and I give him a kiss before climbing in. Once I'm buckled, Travis shuts my door and moves around the car and gets in the drivers seat.

A few minutes later, we've left the house and are on our way to Jason and Kylies. It's like Travis can sense how nervous I am because he places one of his hands on my thigh, giving it a reassuring squeeze before caressing my skin with his thumb. I send him a grateful smile and place my hand on top of his while looking out the window as we drive through the city. Before I know it, we're pulling into the driveway. Travis parks the car and before he gets out, he turns to look at me and gives me a reassuring smile.

"It'll be okay, babygirl. They're gonna love you and if they don't, then it's their loss." I nod and he leans over to give me a kiss. After a few more kisses, he gets out of the car and comes around to my side to open the car door for me. I take his hand and step out and take my purse, slinging it onto my shoulder and holding the basket in the hand that isn't holding Travis' hand. We walk up the front door and Travis knocks before entering. As soon as we shut the door behind us, Donna walks over to us and gives Travis a hug.

"Hey mama." He says and hugs her back with one arm because he's still holding my hand in his other. After Travis breaks the hug, Donna looks over at me and gives me an odd look, immediately making my nervousness reappear.

I hold out my hand for her to shake and she hesitantly shakes my hand. "It's very nice to meet you, Mrs Kelce! I brought some gifts for you guys." I hold up the basket and she takes it from my hand.

"Well, thank you. You didn't need to do that." She says and I could hear in her tone that she didn't like that I was trying to make a good first impression. She turns around to walk to the kitchen before I could say anything and Travis turns to look at me.

"Baby, it's okay. Don't overthink it. She gets like that when she's a little nervous and on edge." He says quietly before kissing my forehead and my eyes widen.

"On edge? Travis, that doesn't really do anything to alleviate my fears." I look down at my feet and Travis places two fingers under my chin, lifting my head up to look at him.

"I'm sorry, baby. Wrong choice of words. Just know that I love you and will be by your side the entire time." I nod and he gives me a quick kiss before taking my hand and leading me to the other room where everyone else is. I put on a brave face and give everyone a smile before Travis pulls out a chair for me at the table. "Thank you." I say quietly as Travis takes a seat next to me.
