Like Aunt, like niece, but... they just aren't alike.

Alexandra had grown into a smart, outspoken, cynical of the gods, beautiful young lady. Helen had grown up as a beautiful, soft spoken, God praising and fearing, demure, woman. Notice how Beautiful is where the line is where the similarity's ended.

Even the type of Beautiful was different between the two. Helen was pleasing to most people's eyes, even some of the maid servants of Sparta where jealous of her husband. Alexandra, on the other hand, was beautiful in a wild way. like how the ocean is beautiful, at any moment it could kill you but right now you don't care.

Helen had golden hair and the fair, pale, Greek complexation, she also had ocean blue eyes and freckles like speckles of earth that mother Gaiea had blessed her with.

Alexandra had earthen hair and eyes, with mocha tan skin and a handful of scars. She had grown used to braiding the course hair of the little boys, whom did have a much darker complexation then her own, then Helen who had grown accustomed to braiding her own smooth silky hair.

This might be, when dear Alexandra was only one year old and living under the first name her father gave her, she and the woman had connected. Helen had given her the name Alexandra after some bad press. Infact Helen is the only person who knew her birth name.

Alexandra's father had a bad habit of calling her the name during trainings which might be why Helen's letter was addressed to the old name, maybe it was that they hadn't seen each other in six years.

Now as a human I'm very against relating a personal letter to someone who isn't myself, However, I'm very close with our subject and have read her letter many times so she surely couldn't mind me retelling you the contents of the letter.

My dearest niece,

I have noticed that it has been a while since we have seen each other in person, and even in this long drought of seeing each other, I know that as your caretaker after the passing of all other family, that you couldn't mind me taking the liberty in taking some burden off your shoulders. You see my dearest niece; it has come time for you to be married. I have sent a letter to each country in the Greek kingdoms, and I have gotten an offer, please, do come home for a while and come to meet a possible suitor.

love your devoted Aunt, Helen.

Now Alexandra was, rightfully, enraged. She had buried her past and her aunt had a bad habit of not letting the sleeping dog lie. More like making the sleeping dog get up and try to dig holes to find a bone that the dog already had back in its bed.

"How could she do this?! Like I want to marry any suitor she has lined up for me! I've seen my fair share of suitors, from your mothers to the tales of my aunts! I don't care if it's the one suitor, it could be the kindest prettiest lad in all the land, and I still wouldn't marry him!" she said as she paced around in Telemachus' room. "Calm down Al, its one guy, go to Sparta and reject him in person, besides, your aunt can't be that bad."

Unfortunately, even after six years dear Telemachus still had no Idea that Alexandra was a long-lost Trojan princess. "Besides, I'll go with you to meet with Menelas, i've been told he has been the last to see my father or hear creditable news about him."

"No, one of us needs to stay here..." "Or we could use a vacation... Al, come on, two weeks, that's all the time we need. I can find out about my father, and you can reject the poor sod who your aunt is trying to get you to marry."

"She's not even my aunt, we used to be close when she married into the family... then things went bad, and we were sort of just... forced apart." "I'm sorry, but at least your aunts alive. Thats more than what most Trojans could say." Telemachus said walking off his bed and holing her upper arms.

Telemachus had a bad habit with touch, and because Alexandra was in love, as everyone had been saying, she had blushed, it was just unnoticeable enough that the oblivious Telemachus didn't notice.  "So... we sail off in two days?" he said giving a dorky smile.

She sighed, "Fine, go tell your mother and get us a boat... ill form the plan to get us off without the suitors noticing us."

Unfortunately, They didn't leave without getting noticed, but that tale is for latter.

question: would anyone like to have some fanart of Alexandra made? just so you all can see what she looks like. Also give me other characters you would like to see if you want some.
