Chapter .3

     They sat by the window, gazing at the breathtaking scenery. Towering trees stretched towards the sky, and the distant river glimmered in the morning light.

"Look, the forest is just 5 km away," Lui said, pointing. "We should go explore."

"Definitely," Uxai agreed. "But not today, it's raining."

Lui wrapped his arms around Uxai, pulling him close.

"Without you, I'm nothing," Lui whispered, his voice trembling. "I'm so used to you. Without you, I can't sleep, can't smile, can't breathe."

Uxai's eyes welled up with tears as he held Lui's hand.

"You're the one I'm living for," Uxai replied, his voice cracking. "My sunshine. Without you, I'm nothing. If you leave me again, I'll die."

Tears streamed down Uxai's face onto Lui's hand.

"Hey, why are you crying, my love?" Lui asked, concern etched on his face.

"I'm here beside you," Lui reassured. "I'll never leave you alone, not even for a second."

Uxai's grip on Lui's hand tightened.

"Last night, I realized this house without you is just a room," Lui continued. "It's you who makes it a home."

Their gazes locked, hearts beating as one.

"I love you," Uxai whispered.

"I love you more," Lui replied.
Their foreheads touched, the distance between them dissolving.

"I love how we fit together," Uxai whispered.

"Like two pieces of a puzzle," Lui added.

Their lips brushed against each other, a gentle, reassuring kiss.

In that moment, nothing else mattered – just the warmth of their embrace and the love that filled the space between them.
  

  Uxai's face brightened with a smile. "Now we're together, so why tears? Let's go for a walk! I want sweet potatoes!"

Lui chuckled. "But it's raining."

Uxai's eyes sparkled, his voice playful. "So what? I want to go, please, please, my hubby, please!"

Uxai's cute, excited demeanor made Lui's heart skip a beat.

Lui admired Uxai for a moment before responding. "Okay, let's go, but not for a walk. We'll go for a drive. If you don't want to, we can stay home quietly."

Uxai pouted, making a cute face, but his smile quickly returned. "Let's go!"

Lui grinned, standing up and pulling Uxai into a gentle hug. "You're adorable when you're excited."

Uxai's face flushed, his voice barely above a whisper. "I love you."

Lui's arms tightened around Uxai. "I love you more."
