        Lui tried contacting Sofia, but she was out of Thailand.

Days passed.

Uxai received an unexpected visit from Sofia's dad at her house.

"Hey kid, you know who I am?" Sofia's dad asked.

Uxai nodded.

"Sofi's dad."

"Yes, Mr. Tam," Uxai replied.

Lui, sitting in his office, suddenly heard Uxai's voice through a hidden mic in his bag.

"But with whom?" Lui wondered.

The Thai voice sounded familiar, but he couldn't place it.

Suddenly, Lui recognized the voice - Sofia's dad.

Lui's eyes widened.

"...Listen, kid. I know your story with Lui," Sofia's dad said.
"But my child, Sofia, wants to marry Lui. She loves him a lot."

Uxai tensed.

"It's better for your life, or Lui's social status, to let him go."

Sofia's dad handed Uxai a photo.

"See this? Lui and you together. What if I expose this?"

Uxai's mind raced.

Just as Sofia's dad finished speaking, Lui appeared at the door.

"Uncle P. Tam, what's going on?" Lui asked firmly.

"You don't need to worry about my social status, Mr. Tam," Lui said firmly.

Sofia's dad smiled, his eyes glinting.

"Listen, Lui. People like you just want our money or enjoyment," he sneered.

"I don't see any quality in this kid. That's not love, that's infatuation."

Sofia's dad walked closer to Uxai.

"Toys like these are meant to be played with and broken. We don't need to keep them close."

Lui's anger boiled over.

He clenched his fist, ready to strike.

But Uxai grasped Lui's hand.

"Don't, Lui. Just leave," Uxai urged.

Lui's gaze locked onto Uxai's.

"Please, Lui. Listen," Uxai pleaded.

Lui's rage slowly subsided.

He took a deep breath.

"We don't need to justify our love to you," Lui declared.

"Uxai is not a toy. He's my everything."

Sofia's dad snorted.

"Everything? Ha! You'll tire of him soon."

Uxai's eyes flashed.

"We'll prove you wrong," Uxai vowed.

Lui's grip on Uxai's hand tightened.

"Let's go," Lui said.

Together, they walked away.

As they walked, Uxai stopped and turned to Lui.
"What's going to do, just...?" Uxai trailed off.

Lui's expression softened.

"Why are you so angry all the time?" Uxai asked gently.

Lui's eyes searched Uxai's.
