           Uxai's eyes widened in shock as he took in the scene before him. Sofia, Lui's ex-girlfriend, sat comfortably on Lui's couch, laughing and chatting with him.

Uxai's mind reeled, his heart sinking. He took a step back, attempting to flee the uncomfortable scene.

But Lui noticed. Quickly standing up, he walked towards Uxai, a warm smile on his face.

"What a surprise, my love!" Lui exclaimed, opening the door wider. "Come in!"

Uxai's legs felt heavy, his thoughts racing. Why was Sofia here? What did it mean?

Lui's eyes sparkled with excitement. "I didn't expect you to drop by! Come, let me introduce you."

Uxai hesitated, unsure if he wanted to face Sofia.

"Sofia, this is Uxai, my partner," Lui said, his voice filled with pride.

Sofia's gaze locked onto Uxai, a hint of surprise and curiosity in her eyes.

"Nice to meet you, Uxai," Sofia said, standing up.

Uxai managed a polite smile, still trying to process the situation.

"What brings you here, Sofia?" Uxai asked, attempting to sound casual.

Sofia's smile faltered for a moment before she replied. "Just discussing business with Lui."

Lui wrapped his arm around Uxai's waist. "Sofia's considering investing in our company."

Sofia nodded. "Your company's cutting-edge solutions impressed me. I believe we can mutually benefit."

Uxai's doubts lingered, but Lui's reassuring touch calmed him.

"May I have a word with Lui, alone?" Uxai asked, his voice firm.

Sofia nodded graciously. "Of course.

"I'll let you two discuss," Sofia said. "Nice meeting you, Uxai."

As Sofia exited, Uxai turned to Lui.

"What's really going on?" Uxai asked, his voice low.

"What's going on?" Uxai asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Lui's expression softened. it's "Just business

Lui's expression turned serious. "It's a recent development. Sofia's interested in our tech innovations."

Lui's smile eyes locked onto Uxai's. "Just business, love. I promise."

"Is there something I should know?" Uxai asked.
Lui smile and say what happens to you today asking to may question...

Lui's arms enveloped Uxai.

Don't you "Trust me, love.
My heart belongs to you."

Uxai's heart wavered, unsure what to believe.
Uxai nodded, forcing a smile. "I'm fine, just tired."

Lui's eyes narrowed slightly, sensing Uxai's unease.

"Okay, love. I'll be back soon. Meeting in 30 minutes," Lui said, kissing Uxai's forehead.

"Bye," Uxai whispered.

Uxai's mind raced, thoughts tumbling like stormy waves.

"Why did Lui say it's just business? Why didn't he tell me Sofia's his ex?" Uxai wondered.

The image of Sofia and Lui's comfortable interaction haunted him.

"And why did Sofia meet me like we've never met before?" Uxai's thoughts swirled.
