Female bakugou!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<3~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was no secret that Katsuki Bakugou was one of the most talked-about girls at U.A. High. She was tough, fierce, and undeniably attractive. Her confident stride, sharp tongue, and killer physique caught everyone’s attention, but Bakugou didn’t care much about that. She never had. However, she couldn’t escape the whispers—especially when it came to her relationship with Shoto Todoroki, the stoic and cool-headed hero-in-training who, in contrast to her explosive personality, was calm and reserved.
Everyone at school had their assumptions about their relationship. They saw the fiery girl with the quiet and popular Todoroki, and naturally, people made comments.
“They’re only together because of her body. He’s a guy; what do you expect?” “Todoroki’s probably not even into her. I bet she’s just a trophy to him.” “They don’t make sense as a couple.”
Bakugou heard it all. And while she pretended not to care—because she was Bakugou, and she didn’t give a damn about anyone’s opinion—it still stung sometimes. Because she knew the truth. The truth was that Shoto wasn’t with her because of her body, or her looks, or her reputation. He was with her because he loved her. And behind closed doors, away from the prying eyes of U.A., he showed her just how much.
It was a quiet Saturday afternoon. Bakugou lay sprawled out on Shoto’s bed in their dorm. Her phone buzzed occasionally with messages, but she ignored them. The soft hum of the fan above her created a peaceful atmosphere. Shoto had gone to train for a few hours, leaving her to relax in his room while he was gone. She liked being here. His room was one of the few places where she could drop her guard and just be herself.
An hour passed, and she found herself dozing off when she heard the sound of the front door clicking open. Moments later, the bedroom door creaked as a familiar figure stepped into the room. Shoto stood there, looking thoroughly exhausted from his training session. His two-toned hair was slightly disheveled, and a light sheen of sweat glistened on his brow.
Without a word, Shoto dropped his bag by the door, kicked off his shoes, and made a beeline for the bed. Bakugou didn’t even have time to greet him before he flopped down on top of her, his head resting against her chest as he let out a heavy, tired sigh.
"Shoto," Bakugou murmured, a slight smirk playing on her lips. "You okay?"
“Mmm,” was all he could manage, his voice muffled against her body.
Bakugou rolled her eyes, though there was a softness to it. "Rough training?"
He nodded, too exhausted to speak properly, but his arms snaked around her waist, pulling her closer as he buried his face in her chest. He was clingy like this when they were alone, not at all the cool and composed Shoto that everyone else saw. Here, he was vulnerable and affectionate, and she liked that about him. It was a side of him that only she got to see.
Bakugou’s fingers naturally found their way into his hair, running through the soft strands as she lightly scratched his scalp. Shoto practically melted at her touch, his body sinking further into hers.
“You always like this,” Bakugou muttered, though there was no bite to her words. She continued to comb her fingers through his hair, her other hand resting on his back. “Clingy bastard.”
Shoto hummed in response, pressing his cheek against her chest as if trying to get even closer. "I missed you," he murmured after a while, his voice soft and laced with sleepiness.
“Tch, I’m right here,” she shot back, but her tone was light, teasing. She pressed a quick kiss to the top of his head, and she could feel him smile against her skin.
“That’s why I missed you,” Shoto whispered, his grip tightening around her as he nuzzled closer. “I just… like being here with you.”
Bakugou’s heart gave an involuntary flutter. Damn him and his soft words. Shoto always knew how to disarm her when he was like this—gentle, loving, and so utterly sincere.
She tilted his face up with her hand, brushing her thumb across his cheek. His eyes were half-lidded, heavy with exhaustion, but they still held that quiet warmth she adored. She leaned down and pressed her lips to his in a soft kiss. It wasn’t rough or fiery like most people might expect from her—it was simple, tender, and filled with everything she couldn’t put into words.
Shoto exhaled deeply when they broke apart, looking at her like she was the only thing keeping him grounded in the world.
"You always know how to make me feel better," he murmured, eyes closing as he rested his head back on her chest.
Bakugou scoffed lightly, her fingers still playing with his hair. "Don't get too used to it."
But the truth was, she loved this. She loved being the one he came to when he needed comfort, the one he could be his true self around. No one else got this side of him. No one else saw how soft and affectionate Shoto could be when it was just the two of them.
“Why do you even put up with me, Shoto?” Bakugou asked suddenly, the question slipping out before she could stop it.
Shoto’s brows furrowed slightly, and he lifted his head to look at her. “What do you mean?”
She hesitated for a moment. “Everyone talks about us… they say you’re only with me ‘cause of how I look, ‘cause of my body. They don’t get why we’re together.”
Shoto stared at her for a long moment, his expression unreadable. Then, without warning, he shifted his body, rolling so that he was hovering over her. He cupped her face gently with one hand, his thumb tracing her cheek as he gazed into her eyes.
“I’m with you because I love you,” he said simply, his voice steady and firm. “I don’t care what anyone else says. They don’t know you like I do. They don’t see how strong you are, how passionate, how caring. I’m not with you because of how you look, Katsuki. I’m with you because of who you are.”
Bakugou felt her throat tighten at his words, but she refused to get emotional. Instead, she scowled and turned her head slightly, muttering, "You're such a sap."
Shoto smiled softly, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "Only for you."
She groaned, but there was no real annoyance behind it. How could there be when Shoto was looking at her like that? Like she was the most important person in the world to him.
“You’re an idiot,” she grumbled, her hands still running through his hair.
“Maybe,” Shoto replied, laying back down on top of her with a contented sigh. “But I’m your idiot.”
Bakugou’s lips twitched upward despite herself, and she wrapped her arms around him, holding him close.
