The bark of a Maplewood tree, he is
His silent voice like the calm waves
The Vikings fear his command
He shall rise
The winds shall heed
The sea at his will
As his back leans; the world wails
The Sun in haste
The stars hide
His sneeze; the people have died
A red flag he waves
The eyes of his men, bright
And the stars of the night gave
A knowing glittering sight.
