Sheena's POV

Today was the day. Finally. After two—no, three—years of grueling training, countless sleepless nights, many fights and quarrels, and an ocean of sweat and tears, we were on the brink of our official debut. The moment we'd been dreaming of, fighting for, was about to happen. And now, we were about to record the song that would define us.

I stared at my reflection in the mirror, adjusting my clothes and lightly dabbing on some makeup. My mind was racing. Excitement, nerves, anticipation—they all swirled together in my chest, making it hard to focus. "We are born to win," I whispered to myself, as if saying it out loud would make it more real.

"Dali na, Shee! Bilisan mo, naghihintay na 'yung iba sa baba!" I heard Ate Aiah calling from downstairs, her voice full of impatience but tinged with excitement.

"Coming!" I shouted back, grabbing my phone and AirPods before rushing out of my room. I met the girls in the van, all of them already chatting away, their energy infectious.

The moment I slid into my seat, I could feel the weight of the moment sink in. This was it. This song could make or break us. No pressure, right?

I plugged in my AirPods, trying to focus on the lyrics once again. Born to Win. It wasn't just a song title, it felt like our destiny. The pride behind it, the power—it wasn't just words on paper. It was who we were now. The countless hours of practice, the times we cried, the moments we doubted ourselves, the fights we had, it all led to this. We were going to win. We had to.

I glanced up from my phone just as Stacey piped up, "You know, Sean is really good. He made this song in just a week, and it's amazing how good it turned out." She shook her head in disbelief.

"Yeah, and the instrumentals? Ang galing!" Mikha added, her eyes wide with admiration. "It's got this... I don't know, lakas vibes. It just feels right, 'di ba?"

I smiled, chiming in. "I'm definitely excited for the recording." My voice was steady, but inside, my heart was racing. The rest of the girls nodded. Ever since Direk Lauren had sent us the final track, we'd been doing everything to prepare—memorizing every lyric, every beat, every harmony. The girls didn't know I had already knew that it was finished earlier because of Sean, but I kept my promise to him and never spilled the secret. Still, it had been so hard not to let anything slip.

As the van made its way through the busy streets of Manila, the atmosphere inside was electric. We practiced and practiced, going over the song, perfecting every nuance. Mikha and Gwen hummed harmonies, Stacey was tapping beats on her leg, and Ate Aiah was whispering lines under her breath. We were like a well-oiled machine, united in our mission.

Before we knew it, we arrived at ABS-CBN. As the van pulled up, I felt a rush of nerves wash over me. My hands suddenly felt clammy, and I wiped them on my jeans. The moment we stepped out of the van, the grandness of the building seemed to loom over us. This place had seen so many dreams come true, and now we were about to take our place among them.

"Kaya natin 'to," I muttered under my breath, giving myself a pep talk.

We walked through the doors, trying to keep our nerves in check, but the atmosphere was thick with anticipation. This wasn't just another practice session. This was the real thing.

Finally, we reached the recording studio. I hesitated for a second as my hand touched the door handle, feeling the cool metal against my skin. My heart pounded in my chest. When I opened the door, I saw Direk Lauren, Sean, and Luis already inside, busy setting up. Sean's back was turned as he fiddled with the soundboard, headphones around his neck. The sight of him immediately calmed me, even if just a little.
