Sean's pov
"Just drop me at my apartment Jay" I said while scrolling through videos on tiktok
"Di mo ba bibisitahin mga magulang mo? you've been overseas for 2 years man, I'm sure they miss you specially si tita" Jay said while looking at me through his rearview mirror on the car
"I'll visit some time pero di muna ngayon di pa ako ready para kausapin sila" I answered and honestly I think I don't wanna see them ever
"Your call man"
"So how was LA? from what I heard you went there for school right?" he asked
"Yeah, LA is pretty good, always cold in there which I really like and yeah kaka graduate ko lang din"
"woah congrats man, your finally in college, let's celebrate even if it's a late celebration, kain tayo sa usual spot natin, my treat" Jay said happily
"I meant graduate na ako nang college and sure kain tayun kina tito Bogart miss kuna talaga luto niya, I've been craving his food in LA for a long time" I said while imagining on finally eating tito's food after a long time
"Yeah yeah sur-wait what do you mean graduate kana sa college?" he asked in confusion
"I meant exactly what I said, I'm a college graduate now tapos nako mag aral and I can finally look for a job" I said proudly
"Wait what!? ok I am very confused right now, how's that possible? you just had your 19th birthday" Jay asked in confusion
"well you remember how I was homeschooled until highschool? well after moving to LA, I applied to be in college since technically I finished my highschool. And turns out di naman masyado mahirap ang college so ayun nag speedrun ako tas nag apply for early graduation" I explained to him
"Wow grabe ka, hirap na hirap nanga ako sa senior high school tas easy lang sayo college"
Ever since I was a kid I was homeschooled so I had a lot of free time back then, so I just spent the rest of those free time to study more advance subjects you know things typically college students studies
"And your university was fine with that?"
"Well wala silang choice, I aced the early graduation exams tas natapos kudin yung mga required thesis and I aced my thesis too, so ayun no choice sila, it was approved and I graduated college 3 and a half years earlier than my peers" I explained to him with confidence
"Damn bro" he said in amazement
And so me and Jay talked a bit more as he drove me to my apartment in Quezon, we dropped my things and then drove straight to Tito Bogart's restaurant. Fun fact about his restaurant, his restaurant is located between a Jollibee and Mang Inasal but lemme tell you, those two fast food restaurants are always barren, while Tito Bogart's restaurant is always jump packed. That's how good his food is.
A few minutes later we finally arrived and god damn I could already smell the food even from the parking lot
"Brings back memories huh? hahaha" Jay said as he stared at my expression while laughing. We went out of the car and the moment I looked at the restaurant a wave of nostalgia suddenly hit me
"Yeah it really does, I still remember me, you and Jose basically staying here the entire day so pinilit tayong patulungin ni tito hangang sa para na tayong employee dito hahahaha" I said remembering those fun memories we had in this restaurant
So we walked straight in to the restaurant and boy oh boy did it change, it was much bigger now and better looking now, one look and it'll make you think "I gotta eat here it's too lit". We opened the door and a staff greeted us
