Third Pov
" Kathy when are you coming home?" Kathy's mother asked her over the phone annoyed at her daughter's obsession with the french man.
" Mom I told you I don't know.....I - I'm not ready to come home. Chase is finally-" She said before she was interrupted by her mother.
" Oh my fucking God, if I have to hear about this Chase again I swear I will jump off a fucking cliff!" Her mother stressed out.
" Jeesh mom, I'm in love!" Kathy yelled. " Can't you see .... Im in love with him. You said I should never give up on love...you said that, don't you remember?"
Kathy's mother sighed over the phone and place her hand on her forehead. The truth was Kathy was a very naive girl and not to mention a very " hopeless romantic" at that. The way Kathy had describe her relationship with Chase to her mom, her mom immediately knew that Chase only wanted sex but in Kathy's silly head he was madly in love with her but use sex as a way to cover it. This wasn't the first time Kathy has been used for her body and her mother had to witness the aftermath of that. She believe that Kathy was too innocent for this world, it break her heart that people constantly use her daughter for money, sex and other things and after they do the soft hearted girl would always forgive them.
" Kathy.... please just come home. This man clearly doesn't love you....I don't want you to be hurt again Kathy...just come home." Her mother said, trying her best to hide her tears.
" Mom you don't understand Chase. He's just pretending to be cold hearted because he doesn't want me to know that he loves me. He's probably used to getting his heart hurt and as a coping mechanism he pretends that he only wants sex or friendship from girls but I think I can fix him...I think I can help him..."
" God! " Kathy's mom yelled out. " You can't fix shit! Just come home please I miss you. It's not safe for a young girl like you to be in a foreign country all by yourself. I don't want you to end up missing like Zuri Jefferson....I heard that they are trafficking girls!"
" I'll be safe mom...." A part of Kathy knew that her mother was right but for some reason she just didn't wanted to believe it.
" Kathy if you don't come home, I will personally send someone to get you! " Her mother yelled and Kathy finally gave up.
"Fine..." She said before rolling her eyes. The only thing that was keeping her in France was Chase and at the moment he was pushing her away and she missed home.
" Good girl..." Her mother said after she sighed in relief.

Kathy smile gently as she drove to Chase's manor, she had a plan. She was going to tell him she was leaving for good and then when he realize he can't live without her, he will confess his love for her.
