Chapter 17-

Ton seul but dans ce monde est d'être à moi

(Kathy)

I covered mouth so tightly trying my best not let out a sound as I heard his voice in the room.

" I know you're in here, Kathy I can smell your perfume. I always liked how it smell. It reminds me of  fruits and sometimes various flowers...like roses and lavender." He said calmly. I began to slowly feel around the closet for any weapons and fortunately I found a heel boots. I clutched it tightly in my right hand with my left hand still covering my mouth.

" I really liked you Kathy, you really were my number one gal until I met my Zuri, my wife. You see I never believe I would ever fall in love- heck fall in love at first sight. Can you believe I haven't even slept with as her yet?" He continue to ramble.

I then began to pray in my head, I wasn't even a believer but at the moment that was last thing I could think to do.

" I know you're in the closet." He said and I swear I could feel my soul left my body. " You can't hide under the bed so obviously... you're in the closet." He said with a sighed.

" I really didn't want to kill you but you just had to see her!" He yelled before he aggressively pulled the closet door open and I hesitate for a second before I then jumped up in a defensive motion. His hands reach to grabbed me but I then used the heels and stabbed it in his arm, he then let out a painful gasp. I then ran towards him so I could leave the closet but immediately as my foot reach on the floor he then slapped me so hard I fell sideways on the floor, that's when I decided to kick his ankle with all my strength resulting to him falling backwards.

" Fucking bitch!" He yelled out. I then grabbed back the heels that fell out of my hands because of the slap. I then got up and tried to run towards the door but I felt him grab my ankle resulting to me falling to the floor. Immediately, I began to kick at his face and hands trying my best to get out of his hold. I was determined today, I didn't want to die and if I die at least I knew I put up a fight. I then kick him on his forehead resulting to him letting my leg go. I then got up and ran through the door. I was about to run down the stairs when I saw that Zuri was already at the top of it with a knife in her hand.

" We have to go!" I yelled out, but I knew she wanted to do something other than leave.

"No.....He deserve to die." She said. " You can go Kathy, but I'm going to kill him. I swear....he will die by my hands!"  I didn't want to leave her but Chase would be out any minute so I decided to take her up for her offer and ran pass her down the stairs.

" Chase!" She yelled out and I stopped midway down to look up at what was happening. Chase walked out furious while he rubbed his forehead. Immediately as he walked out Zuri charged at him with the knife aiming for his chest but he then use his hand to block his chest  so the knife went through the center of his hand instead. I thought he would at least react in a way to showcase his pain but instead he pulled away his hand that had the knife in the middle of it and slowly pulled the knife out without flinching. Zuri then take out another knife that was in her back pocket and this time it went through his chest, she tried to stabbed him more than once but when she pulled the knife out and was going to strike again, he then punch her so hard that she fell flat on the floor.

"Fucking ungrateful bitch!" He yelled out before he stepped on her head and pressed down. She then began to scream in pain." I should crush your fucking skull!" He yelled before he remove his foot and began to kick her harshly in her stomach. I couldn't watch it anymore, I wanted to defend her but I couldn't, I wasn't that strong so I decided to run.

Third pov

Chase then kick Zuri a third time in her stomach before he kicked her in her face resulting to her being unconscious. Kathy ran through the front door, not knowing if she should just run through the gates or try to look for his car keys, she chose the first option. As she open the gates she heard Chase called out her name.
