Chapter 3-

n'ayez pas peur

I clutch my chest, rubbing it since It felt  like I just bumped into a brick wall.

" Bonsoir...." I heard a deep voice said. I back off a little bit to see who it was. It was a man who looked oddly familiar.

" English." I said lowly. Yeah I knew french but not much and I wasn't in the mood right now to speak it.

"Oh English? Goodnight, what are you doing?" He asked in his thick accent and I cringe at the noise getting louder behind the alley way, it sound like someone was grunting in pain.

" Oh I just came for fresh air, gonna go back now." I said, trying to sound as nonchalant as possible.

" Mmm, have you seen what's around there?." He asked pointing towards the alley way. His eyes looked so dark and mysterious.

" Um should I see something there?" I asked. Not gonna lie this was creepy. He then began to size me up, now this was beyond odd.

" A beautiful girl like you shouldn't be roaming around late this night. Someone bad might lay eyes on you." I sighed and hummed before trying to walk pass him but he then block my path with his big body.

" Bro I want to get b-back to the c-lub." I said, cringing cause I stuttered.

" How can I be so sure you haven't seen what you should've." He asked.

" W-what? I literally didn't okay? I just want to get back to club. You're just making yourself suspicious." I said, again I was trying my best to seem calm. He was trying to see if I saw anything and I didn't but obviously he knew I could hear the grunting noise. " Look I hear the noise but I haven't investigate anything Sir."

" What do you think the noises are?" He asked and then he ran his fingers through my hair.

" Maybe some drunk person vomiting or worse sex...'' I said

" Maybe but it sounds like someone is pain, do you want to check it out." He had a smirk on his face.

" Well if it sounds like that to you then why don't you check it out."I replied. He was playing with me.

" I mean if it is sex wouldn't you like to see it? Just like how you were watching me yesterday." He said and I blush in embarrassment, so that's where I saw him. I mean of course he would've seen me, his apartment complex wasn't that far.

" What? I don't know what you're talking about?"

" Well yesterday day I was fucking a woman and I looked up and saw a dark skin woman watching me. I mean I couldn't see you're face that much but this morning I saw you very clearly when you went back on your balcony."

" It- it was an accident, I didn't see much. Plus isn't quite disgusting of you to be having sex in such a revealing place?!" I asked getting offended.

" It's just sex, everyone does it and I can do what ever I want. I paid for room so I must take use of everything dear."

" Look sorry I saw you okay? But I didn't see anything now!" I said exhausted. This man was beyond annoying.

" How can I be so su-" before he could finish I took my pepper spray out and attack him with it. It might've been a bad idea but this guy was beyond annoying. He then screamed in pain covering his eyes as he fell to his knees. Immediately I began to to run towards the club door, I ran and when I was Infront the club I look towards the man to see another man at his side, I then ran back into the club before the other man could look up.

"Zuri what happened?" Jeanne asked as she drove the car. When I arrived in the club I went to Jeanne and told her I wanted to leave she was sad but she didn't questioned me. I liked that about her, she doesn't seem like she like to pry into situations.
