The red liquid goes up his veins.

𝙏𝙃𝙐𝘿.

Oxygen flows through his body, transported to his cells.

𝙏𝙃𝙐𝘿.

His eyes are bloodshot as he glares at the person standing in front of him.

𝙏𝙃𝙐𝘿.

The rage burning in his body makes him mad.

...

"Leo!"

The small child looked up at the rat, smiling at him.

"Papa!!"

The rat laughed, kneeling down, as the little turtle ran up to him and put his arms around the kid, pulling Leonardo in a warm embrace. Leo hugged him back, giggling in joy.

"You found me, Papa!"

The rat nodded.

"Yes, now we need to find Your brothers!"

Laughing happily, the youngster nodded as he let go of his father, just to start running and searching everywhere for his siblings. The adult sighed, shaking his head at his son.

"Oh, Leo..."

That memory.

It would oftenly play in his head.

Sometimes, he wonders...

Did he make the right choice?

The art of Ninjutsu always fascinated him. When he first saw the book, he knew that it was the best for his sons. He taught them how to fight and how to defend themselves. He taught them everything he knew.

He raised them.

Yet, there was something he missed out on...

But he didn't know what.

Sitting there, Splinter closes his eyes as he wonders. What could it be?

Meanwhile, a tall turtle with a blue mask on peeks in, observing Splinter.

Oh, he's meditating.

Let's leave his dad alone for now.

Walking away, the turtle would then approach a purple door-the entrance to his brother's room. Leonardo knocks three times, and soon enough is welcomed by his siblings-Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo-all in this one, specific space. Raising his brow,

Leonardo looks at Donatello. "What's up, Donnie? You wanted to talk?"

The violet-masked turtle nods, his expression serious. "Yes. It's because Shredder has returned. And he's not alone this time."

Leonardo's eyes widen up as he looks at Mikey and Raph-they seem to already know, as their expressions show worry but not shock.

"How did he escape? And what do you mean that Shredder's not alone?!"

Donnie sighs, turning to his computer. "They broadcasted the info that Shredder's back, and he was seen with two girls-one of them had H/C hair."

Leo, staring at the ground, thinks. "We have to stop them."

Michelangelo nods, looking at Donatello. "Have you found anything else from the picture?"

The turtle shakes his head, sighing. "No... that's all I could tell from the photo, as of now."

Raphael growls lowly, staring at his brothers. "Well, what are we waiting for? We have to find them!"

Leonardo's head shoots up as he smirks. "We'll surely do! We always win, remember?"

Mikey smiles, but Raphael shakes his head. "Leo..."

"Oh, come on, Raph! We're the best heroes out there! We'll get them in no time!" Leo shouts, a cocky grin entering his face. Raph, hearing this, sighs in disapproval.

"Still, Leo..."

"Ah-ah-ah!"

Mikey and Donnie look at each other as the shorter turtle simply shrugs.

"Guys, let's focus on more important things." The smartest of them four interrupts their little argument. "I've recently gotten a message from April. She saw the girl near her school."

The leader turns his head to Donatello, his grin fading. "What?"

"Yep. She's going to the same school as April. And her name is Y/N. Y/N Saki."
