"CHECK THE MATH." Caitlin told Cisco as the both of them and Gracie made their way to the cortex. "Your dispersal models don't correlate."

"Uh, they do if you factor in the seasonal fluctuations in reproduction cycles." Cisco said.

"What exactly are we debating?" Wells asked, joining the trio.

"Yeah." Gracie agreed. "I don't speak nerd."

"The average number of bugs Barry swallows in a day of running." Cisco admitted.

"I look forward to seeing you accept your nobel." Wells said. "Miss Hughes, aren't you supposed to be at work?"

"I was." Gracie said. "But I came here because we were chasing this guy who was speeding and literally wouldn't stop his car at all—he also almost ran over a kid. Point is, Joe's partner, Eddie tried shooting him, but the bullets literally bounced off his skin."

"So he's a meta-human?" Caitlin asked.

Gracie nodded, confirming that's what she assumed. "Barry went after him but he got away. Then I tried to get a hold of him since then but he never answered my calls."

"Barry?" Cisco called out as the team entered the cortex. Gracie gasped once she saw Barry lying on the ground, clutching his chest.

"Bare." Gracie said as she crouched down next to him. "Are you okay?"

"13 fractures." Caitlin informed. Once Gracie helped Caitlin get Barry onto a bed, Caitlin was quick to figure out what happened to him. "That's a new record, and that's just in your hand."

"You also have a concussion, three cracked ribs, and a bruised spleen." she continued. "Even with your powers, you'll need a few hours to heal."

"What exactly did you hit." Wells asked Barry.

"A man." Barry said. "A big bad man."

"So I was right." Gracie said. "He's a meta-human."

Barry nodded. "His skin changed when I hit him. Like, it turned to metal."

"Interesting." Wells said. "A man of steel."

"So you went afyer a meta-human alone?" Cisco asked. "Dude, why didn't you call us?"

"I didn't know what he was." said Barry. "Besides, I was off-duty."

"Hmm." Caitlin hummed as Gracie stifled a laugh. They new exactly what Barry was doing.

"You're lucky he didn't knock out your teeth." Cisco said. "Those puppies don't grow back."

"The strange thing is I feel like I knew him." Barry said.

"What do you mean?" Caitlin asked.

"He said something that was familiar, but he's gonna hurt someone if we don't stop him." Barry said. "So how do I fight a guy that's made of steel?"
